Overall rating is average, this place is the fast food of Indian food. Very fast service as it is all precooked in bulk. Prices are very affordable but if you’re after quality there are other great options not too far from here.

Best Indian food in Darby Street Newcastle — eat in or takeaway with fast friendly service. Good selection of vegetarian and meat and chicken dishes, with Delicious nann bread and samosas.

This place is just average. I tried two times during my visit to Newcastle. The masala paneer was tasteless and sour with tomato ketchup. The tandoori naan was also average but at high priced. As there were no options to eat in the city, I went again to the restaurant for my lunch next day. I took 3 veg combo rice large with matar paneer, chole and egg plant mix curry. Only the chole was good other were tasteless.

I found the food to relate to your typical standard Indian flavour with the same standard service you’d expect, nothing stood out to reach more stars in this review.Considering the prices they’re advertising, I thought the business was a little stingy providing meat in the dish.

Absolutely fantastic food and service: Indian and middle eastern cuisine although we only tried the Indian. Fresh, fresh delicious food. Thoroughly recommend. We were passing through from Melbourne - but we’ll be back!

The preeminent Indian eatery in Newcastle - I couldn’t talk more highly about this restaurant. Incredible food and friendly staff. It’s my go-to whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommended.
