Bakery & Cafe – Banjo’s St Helens

Asked for a EGG and bacon pie, the woman at the counter said they don't have any. I could see the whole top shelf was full of them but maybe I said the wrong thing so I asked for a EGG and ham pie. She said they don't exist.She said they have cheese and bacon MEAT pie.I knew that wasn't what I asked for but I didn't feel like having an argument.P.S. wanted to sit next to the window but there was a full layer of pie crust on the still.It was only 7am.A very strange experience.

Great selection of pies. I really enjoyed the scallop, veg and curry pie.

This bakery is heaven. Everything is freshly baked as it should be, just mouth watering and juicy. Would recommend to anyone if in the area for breakfast or lunch.

Burnt blueberry muffin inedible pies have soggy bottoms have to eat with a spoon so it doesn't fall apart. Eggs beni croissant freezing in the middle no beni sauce. Staff too busy talking to each other

Nice pies and other baked goods. Good variety of bread and cakes. It always seems to be busy which is a good sign of quality. Plenty of seating outside if you want to sit and eat.

Beautiful café with awesome staff and delicious pastries! Coffee was superb as well!

Vegan here. They had vegan rolls in the case. When I asked if they had anything else the woman apologized, shaking her head and saying no. Another worker (manager?) overheard and signaled me to wait. She came back after talking to the cook and said they could make a veggie sandwich with beet root, carrot, lettuce and tomato, would that be okay. I was so happy! Then the cook came over and asked what kind of roll I'd like the sandwich on and gave me several choices. I picked the multigrain. This sandwich was EVERYTHING! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and making sure I was fed!!!! I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic but believe me when I tell you this sandwich was full and did not disappoint! Thank you to the people who cared enough to make sure I had good food to eat! I also bought vegan veggie rolls out of the case and they were delicious!!! A flat white oat completed my meal and that was delicious as well!

Excellent bakery. The sour dough rye is top notch and they'll slice it for you.Good range of pies and cakes too.

Great selection of pies, including the Scallop Pie which I think you have to try while visiting Tassie :) The danishes were really nice and the coffee was great. Service was always friendly.
