We were holding a small celebration with immediate family on a weekend away. The venue had been recommended on a travel site but this was our first experience of it. The venue is quite large but on arrival we were warmly welcomed and advice on food and wine was helpful and appropriate. The venue is a bit remote and the weather was quite bad but the overall experience was very pleasant. The food was excellent and although there were a number of other parties dining it was quiet and relaxing.

An hours drive from Melbourne city. Food is very fresh and creative. Love the pork belly that was crackling and sweet.Worth the destination to be. Of course do go there as well for other reasons. We went to the nearby Alpaca farm.

Arilla is a hidden gem. The food here was first class and the setting is lovely. Looking out over equestrian fields and lovely paddocks. The actual restaurant itself is also fabulous with a lovely fireplace and large windows all around. We absolutely loved the croquettes, the crab tacos and the pulled pork sliders. We will be back. Highly recommended.

We went for lunch on quiet Thursday (it was my birthday).It wasn't busy but still a nice atmosphere. Food and service excellent. It was our second time dining in Arilla, and for sure, not the last one. Highly recommended.

The location is splendid if you are already in the Portsea area :).The service was delightful, very attentive and helpful.The meal sizes were very much as described by the hostess and they delivered on taste.In my view it was very much value for money, we had a lovely sunset dinner and I would definitely return if I am in the area.My advise would be to make a day trip out of it with a friend / partner.

The food was great (credit to the fantastic chefs who work so hard here) but the service provided by the male waiter was absolutely disgraceful. He responded rudely and was passive aggressive when tending to simple requests. It was so disappointing as we were really looking forward to the night but it was unfortunately ruined by one horrendous waiter.

The set up was very nice and elegant. The service was friendly. However, the owner didn’t make us feel welcome. He abruptly cut a trial of a friendly conversation after getting the payment approved. The food was average, and kind of tasteless.

Nice and inviting venue. The grounds are well maintained and you can catch glimpses of the horses roaming the equestrian.Service was quick and our waiter was lovely and attentive. The food are affordable and looked appetising. We ordered the arancini and pork belly for starters, rye grain risotto, and passionfruit sponge to finish.The arancini came out hot, crunchy, and with the right amount of sun dried tomato to give it flavour. On the other hand the pork belly was slightly charred but tender and juicy. The risotto is not your typical risotto as theflavour is unique and slightly bitter, the grain is also a bit hard but you will get a nutritious kick. Lastly the dessert was a mix of sweet and tangy flavours on soft sponge cake.

Stopped for a quick casual lunch and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Beautiful surroundings and environment. Every dish we had was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. Definitely 5 stars.
