Its a good restaurant in quite part of the vale shoping center. Located next to city farmers canningvale.Ordered wanton soup for entree, It was good.The fried koay Teow was tasty with nice wok flavour but need more topping (we got only 2 prawns & 2 slices Chinese sausages).The squid tentacles nicely fried with plenty of chopped onions & cut chillies toppings.The fried ice cream was crunchy coconutty on the outside but firmed ice cream on the inside.2 cups jasmine tea to balance the richness of the foods, it came with free refill.All foods came in generous portion.They gave complementary prawn crackers while you waiting after you ordered and waiting for the foods to come.Service was a bit slow, but the waitresses were nice & polite.Although the restaurant not too busy when we visited (it was wet evening), we noticed steady flow of people picked up their take away orders.For the portions they gave, the prices were excellent.They have $9.50 lunch special too.Plenty of parking during evening as many of other businesses in the area closed at 5pm.But during the day time, parking can be a bit challenging at picked hours.

No Delight here.My Wife and I had dinner here recently.I had the Chicken with Cashew Nut, the sauce was bland and had a fatty taste and you could count the cashews on one hand, it was terrible and should be avoided.The special fried rice, nothing special about it.... average at best.During our meal which was on a recent hot night another couple walked in with their baby and sit in front of the air condition and request it get turned off?!? Which the staff did.... Don't worry about any other customers will you.Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, food is terrible, staff have no idea about customer service and the ambience just doesn't exist.

I occasionally get takeaway which is very nice. However this evening there was a very stale/rancid piece of vegetable in the combo satay. I nearly threw up and emptied the meal into the bin in case there was any more floating in the sauce. What the hell was that? I would hope you check the ingredients before using them. I gave 3 stars based on past meals being nice as this evening’s meal blew 2 away.

We ordered satay chicken, salt and paper squid and special fried rice. While the food was okay for the most part it wasn't what we ordered.The 'salt and pepper squid' was simply not what we ordered. It was chilli squid.The 'special fried rice' was not fried rice at all it was boiled rice with a few bits of tofu in it.The satay was good and was definitely filled to the brim but seemed watered down and didn't have any 'kick' to it but would be good for those who like mild satay.

Best crispy duck in plum sauce in Perth. Went to Penang Delight with the Mrs for anniversary. Great feed thanks to Jay and the Chef. Always fresh food and great service.

Poor customer service. Food was also average - not exactly Malaysian cuisine. The two Chinese girls at the counter were more interested in their card games than serving customers. We had to get their attention a few times by going to the counter to order our food. Noticed similar patterns with other customers around, as they forgot one or two orders. We left the restaurant feeling disappointed. Never coming back.

The shop is under new management so the taste is not the same as before. The beef brisket noodle is good; would not recommend the curry laksa though. Gave 5 stars as the new team is very accommodating and trying their best. Lunch special pricing is still very good value.

If i could rate “0” that would be how I feel about this place. I have COVID so ordered 4 dishes on Uber eats for Mother’s Day dinner. Knowing it will be busy so placed order at 5:30pm. Uber driver went there twice but empty handed as food wasn’t ready. I finally got food at 7:35pm(I live 5 minutes away). Two dishes were cold already. Squid was dry and tough, veggies were woody and the artificial bright red sauce looked so scary. Worse experience ever. First time and will be last time as well.

Had a craving for some egg sauce hor fun and saw this place was closeby so I went for lunch with my father and sister. Food was delicious and well-priced. Will definitely be returning.SERVICE & ATMOSPHERETo my delight, the egg sauce hor fun was featured in a lunch special menu (only $10.50). We ordered and received our food quickly and without any issues. It was quiet with a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were nice and seemed well-organised.FOOD QUALITY & QUANTITYThe food looked very appetising, with very even colours and textures; vegetables were green and crisp (not wilted). The sweet & sour pork looked especially colourful, and was served in a big portion of well-sized pieces of pork. The meat was perfectly cooked, without being dry or drenched in oil. The egg sauce hor fun was especially gorgeous. Every mouthful was enjoyable.PRICINGFor the quality and portion sizes, I felt undercharged at their current prices. I've eaten the same dishes at higher prices, but never as enjoyable. The three of us shared four dishes, and had drinks, all for $60. We ate our fill and were still able to take home leftovers. Great value for money, great experience.
