Berkeley Vale Private Hospital

I’d give 0 stars if possible. It took them a week to call me back about booking an appointment. The staff was extremely rude to me on the phone multiple times when I tried to reach out, and when they finally got back to me with the next availability, it wasn’t due for another 4 months. This is an extremely bad customer experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with the slightest expectation of getting an acceptable service.

Been trying to seek help from a psychiatrist here for about 2 years. Saw 2 that were completely unhelpful. Now being stuffed around with another referral being told it was approved and now I have to keep waiting longer and wait another week and another week being told they’ll get back to me.Also got charged over $200 for a 5 minute unhelpful phone appointment. Terrible service.

I had been booked in for a colonoscopy on the 30th June'15 and travelled to the hospital terrified, not knowing what to expect, but I needn't have worried. The care and efficiency afforded me by the staff just blew me away.. I was even allowed to keep my dignity (almost!!) … and that heated blanket.. OMG!! :) My Sincere Thanks.

They are always polite and helpful at the front desk. Admin Is impeccable :)

Absolutely useless. Wait 6 months for an appointment then get a message to say I need to wait another 3 months. I called back to see if anything could be done and was told that I would be called back asap. A week later I call again and was told oh yeah we are just waiting to talk to the doctor. Now going on 3 weeks so I call again. I spoke to the team leader and wow talk about the blame game. They all need to understand they work at a mental health facility and not the hair salon. Disgusting service. Would not recommend dealing with them. The wait time I understand but the complete lack of empathy is appalling when dealing with people like them. My anxiety is next level just dealing with these people. You get 1 star for answering the phone. Congratulations!!!!

Recently went into Berkleyvale private hospitsl for a day procedure, from the minute i arrived to the time i left i felt at ease, the service and nursing staff went above and beyond my expectations. Great Job to all the nursing staff.Highly recommended

I had a phone consultation with a Psychiatrist that lasted 8 minutes. I was charged $240.00 and my receipt states I had a 30 - 45 minute consultation. Feeling very betrayed.

I can highly recommend the Day Surgery Unit. The staff there put you completely at ease and nothing is too much trouble. From the reception point to the preparation for theatre, theatre staff and aftercare, I can't fault it. Extremely happy with my treatment.

My third visit for a procedure on 10.08.2017. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, which made the whole experience a good one.

RAMSEY PART 2After being referred to SMOPS my Psychiatric Nurse visited me at home and stated I was 'too on the ball for their service'. I did what she suggested. I Studied Mental Health - loved learning. I researched Cannabidiol for Mental Health. Went on the Trial in 4/2021. My Mental Health is very well controlled now. I have learnt how to manage the reactions of my mental health, the feelings of despair, the triggers that bring out these episodes. I know I will always have these conditions but I am in control of the outcome. At times when I felt I would have been safer with a stay in Berkley Vale, I knew I could not go back after Dr C's dressing down. I would like to have a backup place. But after eleven facilities during the space of my lifetime, this is not one that I would feel totally comfortable in again.
