Event Cinemas Palmerston

Customer service when purchasing was appalling to say the least, we were spoken to in such a rude manner when being told of the outside food policy! Then it cost $13.70 for x2 small pump water bottles!!! We went to vmax cinema which cost $76.00 for x2 in the cinibuzz club and all the leather has deteriorated where head rest and arm rest are. This was my first and last trip to the movies in years.

the experience was very nice from the seats to the cleanliness, until 3 employees came over, repeatedly asking me and a group of friends to leave after 1 warning of taking a picture.we were told once to not go on our phones and we obliged and happily put them away. The group of staff came over 1 minute later, rudely and aggressively demanding that we leave. without asking or checking, they assumed we were other people, and they stated we were told “multiple” times to stop, when we were not. they did not care to reason or listen to our side of the story. unfortunately, that really put a damper on our mood and ruined our cinema experience. my friends and i will not be returning anytime soon and are appalled that this has happened to us.

Best cinema in Darwin/Palmerston area. It's clean, good quality screen and sound. $25 to $30 per person is a steep price. Especially if you want to go to the movies with the whole family.

We love the Cinemas. The kids prepare themselves with a jumper because they get cold. I love how cool it is. We don't go to offen only because of the price tag that follows. Cost nearly a days wage, otherwise we would be frequent fly.But seriously, how good is the popcorn. I'm always halfway through it before the movie starts. Lol

I have stopped watching movies in the cinema for a while, but after enjoying the big screen once again, I feel like going back on a more regular basis.

This is the best cinematic experience you can get in Darwin the seats are comfortable, screens are big. Overall it’s a great experience strongly recommend watching your movie/movies in V-max for the best experience.

V max worth it, just need more cleaning done before and after every movie cause there some grubbs out there who purposely drops food and put their smelly foot on top of the sits and also the toilets, other than that solid cinema with friendly staff.

Went to see the new Avatar and we found this cinema very very dirty.Our places were full of pop corn and other rubbish from the last movie.The sits are large and confortable but old : damaged leather and the wood between the sits was so dirty/sticky... Disgusting to sit there...First time we are going cinema in Australia and pretty disappointed. And we paid 60$ for 2 places, what a shame !!!Comon Aussie cinema I'm sure you can do better !I give 2 stars because other than that the movie was good and we spent a good moment.
