Is it possible to get an ombudsman involved for the sheer lack of service this is providing?!!Yes it is, so if you have come to look through these reviews due to the same issues. Please raise a complaint through the Victorian Ombudsman because these people don't deserve the funding they are receiving from the government/tax payers money.

They are happy to take funding to exist but literally cannot be contacted now. Not that it seems they have any power anyhow, which means it should be disbanded with no redundancies paid - especially for management.For anyone who thinks it might be unfair that you cannot give zero stars, I would still give one, as it at least they are in keeping with other branches of government like the VBA or Ombudsman in their impotence.

They are biasedNeighbours tree damaged our property through root systemThis settlement was one sided, hence court had to be option..settled other party had to pay, we feel mediation is a waste of time at this placeHence, neighbour now divorced, continued to create a nuisance as house demolished and unsafe as did not get asbestos removed correctly

Absolutely hopeless. Phone number is a message. Cannot contact or speak to anyone. No email provided to send details of dispute. What sort of government assistance is this??It is frustrating and website sends you in circles. Can not make any contact if it's urgent.Need to contact our member of parliament to co.plain about this useless service that hides behind covid as an excuse!!!!

This Disputes Centre should be closed down immediately and all personnel sacked. My wife and I had dealings with this inept Government Centre. Multiple phone calls, emails and requests for help have gone unanswered. The one phone call which was returned, failed to get any closure for what has been the most distressing time for my wife and I, through absolutely no fault of our own. They listened to vexatious and vindictive LIES of another party which resulted in my wife being issued with two intervention orders. Through no fault of her own. Absolutely disgusting service from a department, who should have remained neutral. Close this centre and save valuable tax payers dollars.

I’ve never been to a mediation in my entire life, yet, unbeknownst to me, somehow there are at least 2 Mediation Certificates floating around the annals of the Victorian Department of Justice both with my name misspelled. I’ve phoned them dozens of times over the past 7 years and the last time the person I spoke to said they were both forged but the government is allowed to forge documents if they want to.

The most useless government assistance available. They have no authority to do anything whatsoever, a number that goes straight to voicemail, on the website it states they’re not taking general enquiries unless it involves VCAT between renter and rent provider, when they finally do call back - there’s nothing they can do and are not offering even mediation services at the moment as it has been diverted.So what is the purpose of this place? Unless you want to pay legal fees to take someone to court. Ridiculous

Terrible. There create their own reason to not give you their service although website clearly details you eligible enough though. You got no say unless you have an attorney but this process is before court so no chance. So its at clear will of the assessment officer or drag yourself to court. Need possibilities of vigilance for this body through ombudsman

Wow. They've closed their call centre while still operating on cases so you simply cannot get through. . How can such an important tax payer funded gov service have such an appalling demand management approach.

I contacted them for a dispute with my Owner Corporation. The lady there had few calls with me, and she called the Owner Corporation also (as per her). After few months she told me they don't handle this kind of dispute. I asked her why, she never responded back.
