Rude, unhelpful and pushy. Went looking for a dress for a special event,and was told extremely abruptly and rudely to not hold a sequined dress next to a plain dress. Not even a hello first of all... pushing for me to buy a dress in the style I wanted, but the wrong colour. I will admit, it was a rather busy time in the shop, but how they spoke to myself and another largish girl about our size and shape was very disheartening. Young women that have body issues - don't go to this shop. I felt so sad for the other young girl there - she was in tears. The younger sales girls were trying their best, but the older women - who acted like the owner, you should be ashamed. I wont be going back and giving them a cent of my money.

Staff are very helpful and patient. Parking on nearby streets is available and free on weekends. Sizes here are tricky as some are USA sizes. They have a good range of colours and styles. The store is not large and was busy on Saturday.

What a wonderful experience we had in finding a mother of the bride dress for my daughters wedding. The sales assistant Anna was extremely helpful in helping me try on dresses and making me feel confident in trying different styles. Overall a great experience at Jam Boutique, if you need a formal dress it’s worth the drive. Thankyou Anna!

Had the best experience today trying to fing my mother of the bride dress today. The sales lady was so helpful and patient. I tried on so many beautiful dresses and I found my dress. Thankyou for your help and thankyou for my beautiful dress. Great service and great prices for quality outfits.

This store is terrible, they barely carry any sizes beyond 8 in store. if you are medium sized or curvy you will definitely be insulted and size shamed. Size shaming is harassment as it is aggressive pressure to not buy the dress. By doing this consistently they are breaching Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (employers must maintain a harassment-free workplace.) Consequences of breaching this are apologising and can even lead to compensation. The dresses are very pretty however their service isn't catered to people medium sized and up.According to a study conducted, 94 percent of teenage girls and 64 percent of teenagers have encountered some form of body shaming. These numbers are significantly high, yet they continue to increase on the daily. Being body shamed can be extremely harmful to young adults. In extreme cases, teenagers can end up suffering from eating disorders. Some teenagers will avoid eating for long periods of time and when they can’t take it anymore, they will start to binge eat. Others can end up developing a harsh case of bulimia. Jam is consistently contributing to this problem and it needs to stop. I will not stand for size shaming so I will never be returning to this store and will do everything in my power to make sure people know how horribly mean the staff are. They cannot say things such as you are too big and will break this dress and not face consequences and unfortunately we are not the only people who have experienced this kind of service from the older staff there. I am not looking for compensation nor an apology as they don't deserve my forgiveness. I believe anyone who has been body shamed or agrees with me should boycott this store so they learn their lesson and change for the better.

absolutely beautiful dresses and high quality clothing, but in spite of this, a poor experience is guaranteed when you enter the store due to the negative language used by the staff. Myself and others have left the store in tears over the body shaming. For reference, we are size 8 and size 10. Being told we should be getting larger sizes than our respective sizes. The comments made about how we look in our size were devastating to hear from an all-women's boutique. No inclusivity is available and while staff are knowledgeable, they are not friendly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Anna served me today and spent so much time helping me try on different styles and suggesting great ideas. She really made a difference in my shopping experience . I encourage others to shop at Jam and ask for Anna. Also this store had the best selection of dresses with a lot of variety.

Jam Wollongong is incredible. I purchased two bridesmaids dresses and three junior bridesmaids dresses from Jam. The service was amazing, the prices were great and the dresses were beautiful. The lady who served me was absolutely wonderful, she was so helpful and I am very grateful.
