Second time staying here.. and unfortunately encountered the same inconsistent housekeeping. They made my bed but didn't clean the bathroom floor.. Some fittings are old and have cracked..Same experience for most of my colleagues staying here for the week. Front desk can be more accomodating and offer solutions. Wifi was really really slow. For the price we paid, this is disappointing. Will definitely give feedback to our company to consider removing them from our corporate list of hotels for business travellers.

Checked in at 3pm 1 hour past check in time and was told my room was not ready, asked for another room or a discount all they could offer me was 1 free drink??? Lol, I was told “ we are at high capacity”. My room wasn’t ready until 3.15pm, was late for my afternoon drinks. Terrible service. I stay at crown towers a lot and I’m sure they are ALWAYS at “ high capacity “ but I have never been unable to check in. I wouldn’t stay here ever again * name hidden for privacy

It's such a beautiful hotel in a terrific location. South Yarra was gorgeous, and Chapel St. is a blast.I really appreciated the early check-in after 28 hours of traveling and loved having a kitchen in my room. Would 100% stay again.

A very reasonable place to stay in a convenient location in South Yarra (easy walk to the train / restaurants / grocery / etc.). It is really an extended stay hotel with a variety of room options. The gym and pool are nice amenities. The rooms were comfortable - the furniture arrangement / options depend to some extent on which room you are assigned (and has more of a hotel feel compared to some other apartment hotels in the area that have more of an apartment feel).

Excellent location, easy to get in and out of due to not too busy side road and traffic light from chapel.Had the studio room on second floor. Decent and had like an outdoor terrace with table and chairs , would be nice in summer. Room was ok. Small kitchenette, able to get by and decent fridge freezer. However wasn't the most comfortable to relax in. Chairs were plastic and the bed and tv were 90degrees from each other which meant sitting in bed watching tv meant a trip to the chiro the next day.Car park is small but h many other Wilson parks around.Elevator can take ages.Staff friendlyRoom cleanWould stay again just on location to CBD and suburbs

Poor customer service, after checking out, I noticed I was charged twice for my room so I went back to sort it out. When raising this issue with them, they were in denial and had to call my bank which confirmed the double charge (plus I showed them bank statements as proof). No formal apology was given, nor did they try to be proactive to resolve. I spent over 30 minutes talking to multiple people include managers who were not helpful and showed no respect to me as a customer. Truly disappointed as they claim to be a 5-star hotel, but can't understand how to treat customers well and seem okay with overcharging customers.

The place is ok, but far from being a 5 star hotel. We had a room equipped with Kitchen, the utensils they offer are not enough and the TV is old, besides this I have nothing to say the staff is efficient and pleasant and the pool is nice. I recommend it is in the middle of the city. We would come back.

My room is spacious, nice and bright. And the bed… oh my lord, the bed!!!! I was always wondering how it would feel like to sleep on a cloud? I got my answer. Best fluffy bed ever, for me!! And lovely reception staff.

Extremely long check in, no car park left - when booking didnt recommend reserving or explain this. Rooms ok a bit dated. Would say 4 star level.Restaurant downstairs isn’t worth going to. Slow service even when it’s not busy and expensive for what is.If you just need a bed to sleep in, it’s a good option.

The staff are polite and pleasant, but in a 2br suite, there was almost no lighting, a torch was required (during the daytime) to see room temperature controls. Seating is cheap and unpleasant.Bathroom is unsafe and a tripping hazard. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. The towels old and thin, bath/shower not suitable for people with even a minor disability, (i=or even minor unsteadiness), second bathroom dangerous to try and enter - fall hazard with hidden semi-step, and the only viable shower, so unusable.inadequate lighting for even the most rudimentary purposes. You cannot have both bedside lamps on at the same time, and you acually need those lamps as there is no lighting to speak of in the main bedroom.Poor quality furnishings, not one comfortable seat or chair in the place.However, the hotel is currently undergoing refitting and refurbishing and I would suggest looking at this in a few months time, as I suspect that many of these issues will no longer exist. Certainly the restaurant and the staff are wonderful.
