Gave Jaime a go as he had the least wait time then any other builder I called. Even though his quote was thousands more then any other quote, I needed the job done and don’t mind paying extra for quality work.Wish I had waited.From his workmanship to his work ethic nothing was to inspiring.He was here for 7 days, not once did he do a full days work.From rocking up around 8-8:30 am and knocking off anywhere around lunchtime to 2:30. The job dragged on longer then it should have.Apparently Jaime is the holder of a Master builder’s license.Must pick them out of Weetbix boxes nowadays as his quality of work and finishing off wasn’t to first year apprentice standards.He used the term “leave it for the painters” quite a lot, even though these small tasks to finish the job were clearly his responsibility.He returned twice to add the finishing touches and to rectify the sliding doors that weren’t functioning after his effort and still weren’t lockable.After questioning extra costs on the final bill I received a letter from his lawyer wanting full payment or face the consequences.In the mean time, Jaime walked away leaving a set of sliding doors at the entrance in such a state that they couldn’t be locked, leaving our house unable to be secured.They remained this way for 2 weeks which was rather concerning.After referring the matter to the QBCC, all the work has finally been completed by another contractor.I’ve heard similar horror stories from several other people that have had dealings with Jaime Roberts.Don’t make the mistake I made.Be patient and wait for a proper builder!

JR Constructions goes above and beyond!Recently there was a leak behind the wall in my bathroom. By the time I realized, the damage was extensive. With only one bathroom, and with the shortage of qualified tradies in the region, we were in trouble.We contacted Jamie and he could not be more helpful, clearly explaining options, recommendations and expected outcomes. Taking the stress out of the situation and the final product was perfect. Highly Recommend.

Jamie was called regarding wanting a quote to renovate roughly 40% of my home. Jamie was clear & considering and helped make amazing decisions regarding what to use & what the overall outcome would look like. His colleague was very open and listened and quoted against exactly what we were looking for and made suggestions that I didn't even think about. 10/10 guys great work. Can't wait to do the next job.

We are a retired couple my husband spent 45yrs years in the electrical industry and didn't want to do the major bathroom renovation so we engaged Jamie Roberts to come and give us a quote and he explained to us the issues of previous poor workmanship and what he intended to do to rectify the problems.It was a large job and took 6 to 8 weeks to complete which included other trade's electrician, plumbers,etc which he organised which was all done to the same high standard.He always informed us on any delays.His workmanship was excellent, neatest and best tileing we have ever seen, all work was done to our complete satisfaction, very easy and pleasant to deal with.We would recommend him to anyone and already have.Keep up the good work.Thankyou

Have used Jamie and his team for a few jobs the most recent was a bathroom remodel. Always great work. First choice for all our building and maintenance needs.

We had our guest bathroom renovated by Jamie. I explained to him what I wanted and that is exactly what we got. He was in constant communication with me all the way through which is very rare these days. Everyone just loves our new guest bathroom. Jamie does fantastic work. We are having Jamie renovate our ensuite bathroom early next year, looking forward to that renovation as well. Highly recommend Jamie for any renovation.
