Rallimax Wheel Repairs & Alignment

Great service. They saw me the same day and took a ding out a rim. My car was still shaking at over 90kmh. I gave them a call and explained I got bogged the day before it started happening. They fixed the problem over the phone. I had mud hiding on the inside rear right rim from where it sunk into clay. A wash fixed it.

Rallymax were a recommendation as a top place for wheel alignments and wheel balances, and they lived up to this reputation. Now that the wheels are all sorted, my car is now more of a joy to drive.John, the technician who worked on my car took the time to explain what had been done and made it easy for me to understand. I really appreciated that. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Rallymax to others too.

I cpuldnt be happier with the service here! They were so quick and were able to put my wheel back on for me too at no extra cost. They were very friendly and I would definitely recommend them for any rim repairs.

We booked in for a 8AM slot for 4 tyres to be fitted and balanced + an alignment, did not start well when my partner was asked if she could come back after lunch due to scheduling issue, luckily they were able to work something out and was told it would be done within an 1-1.5 hours.Upon arriving back 2.5 hours later, she was supposed to receive a call once the car was done but that didn’t happen, was also stung with $275 for alignment + $160 Tyres Balanced, fitted and disposed to a total of $435 instead of the initial quote for $300.When I called to clarify pricing with the admin lady, I was told sorry Bruce doesn’t remember and he forgot to write it down, I was then asked to come back to the shop and that they would reimburse us, In which I said we just wanted what was quoted to be honored and I would let my parter know.My partner made a trip all the way back from Northside to be told by Bruce and the admin lady that there will be no refunds issued and prices increased 18 months ago (I have attached bank statement and invoice to show that the price was only $220 for an alignment less than 12 months ago, have had to blur out personal details). We can appreciate the effects of inflation, prices will rise but it’s the principle of awaiting around and wasting time. If they were honest of their intention of no refund and pricing over the phone we could have accepted that and called it a day.Typically your local tyre fitter such as Bob Jane will only charge $120 for all tyres balanced, fitted and disposed + $50-$80 for an alignment, I’m a car guy and I know you get what you pay for when dealing with an independent specialist but you can do the maths and see what the treatment is like for a female who doesn’t have much knowledge of cars.Bruce has done great work on my car in the past, I’m not sure what’s happened recently and I'm really disappointed to say that we'll no longer be returning or referring anymore customers. Won’t fault the alignment (great job) but customer service and random pricing is a shocker.All the best
