Western Region Recyclers

I only have 1 complaint about western recycling yard and that is : Why is it not very visible? Once I found out the yards location I started going in. I have always found the workers to be polite, friendly and accurate with the bottle and can count. Once they got to know me better they shared a great sense of humor. Now the yard appears to have a permanent supervisor and as soon as he started working there it didn't take long for him to know my name and share a joke or 2. I find he is more than fair if I ever querie the count and even though I can be a royal pain he is always patient and willing to address any issues. Overall I would recommend anyone who needs to cash in their bottles and cans i make sure that lids are off plastic and try to separate the glass from the rest and your experience will be as happy as mine. Good going guys.

Took around a hundred of bottles to the site today but not even $1 returned. They said they will not pay for the bottles?? Do not recommend people to take the recycles to this site.

Crooks.Guy gave me $25 for over 400 cans/bottles.The unsupervised processing staff are allowed to access the tills and process payments.Fool me once. Shame on them....Go to Daws Road Recyclers instead. Staff report to an office to process payment.Never been burnt there.

WARNING before using these recyclers- the worker stole $10 from my can deposit!! I purposely counted the cans and bagged them up in lots of 40s before depositing the cans. I noticed he went back twice to the cash as if he had made a mistake. When he gave me the money in exchange for my cans, I stated how many cans were in the bags and the worker denied this - even though it was quite clear given the number of bags I put in (5x large bags) so there is no way there were only 80 cans - that would of only been two bags. He also looked guilty as I questioned him but yeah I didn't want to make a scene. So yeah, don't ever use this one as they will pocket the money themselves.

I thought this guy were good as i usually take a bag at the time but this time around i took 3 big bag. Got short change big time, around 10. Not going here again!

They have cheated me today as I took more than 800 plus cans & they paid me only $40.90. This is really ripoff. They are allowed to access the tilt & give whatever they like. I was the last person today when they closed & so they took advantage. My car was fully loaded with can from last 6 months, cans in plastic bags in the booth, behind seats everywhere & they just took everything from me as I was going to donate that money to the charity. Shame on this people.

New manager running the site is fantastic and quite a breath of fresh air. Everything looks to be running very smoothly, even at peak times as per my visit on Saturday. Well mannered, courteous, fast and tidy.I'll be back :)

We had been short changed the first time. Second time one of the workers wouldn't stop complaining about having to do his job and slammed our doors every time he closed them. Owner said he would chat to the guy but could do with finding a new employee.

I have been taking my recyclable bottles and cans here for years and have ALWAYS received excellent and positive service. I often wonder if the negative people who comment need to look at their attitude to life!!

Normally this site is pretty good.Went there Saturday morning @ 8:45.Only one car ahead of me.Slow to serve, and then when I got home, found the dollars 10 short.Hopefully, a one off
