I went to this vet as I read so many good reviews and I thought a holistic vet might be a better approach than a traditional vet.I went in as my cat was crying at night and sounded like he was in distress as well as having a slight shake/tremor. Dr Ann put it down to the food he was eating because he wasn't tolerating it. Commercial food being the problem. So she suggested I buy the food East West Vets sold - raw kangaroo meat, kidney and liver meat as well as buying Royal Canin's anallergenic biscuits (a commercial brand).She gave us a salt to place on his food as well the herbs Huang lian + Jia wei xiao Yao as a remedy. This was to help if he had a thyroid issue and to help with his stomach to settle the food, we were told.So a couple of weeks pass by and our situation hasn't improved. Only now blood tests are done to prove that my cat doesn't have a thyroid problem, nor diabetes as well as nothing wrong with his liver or heart. Why this couldn't be done on the first visit is beyond me as it only took an hour to get these results. Ask what we are feeding him... The raw meat and royal canin biscuits in which Dr Ann responded that commercial food is bad. We mentioned that she suggested this biscuit and they even sell it in their practice.After showing videos of my cats shaking/tremor, she left the room to check on something, only to come back asking if we had the cat with the shaking. This was only minutes prior and Dr Ann said sorry and that she was busy having so many other animals to attend to... We were the only customers in there at the time. She must be suffering from memory loss or not paying attention to her customers as this seemed like odd behaviour.After our blood tests coming up with no serious issues, she gives us Mai Men Dong and says this should help with our cat's stomach issues as she thinks it's a digestive issue. Well, this was where our problems got worse. My cat started having diarrhoea and violently vomitting. Took him to a traditional vet and even had to go to emergency at one point as the violent vomitting got so bad. These medicines given did not help my cat at all.Would not recommend going here.

We are really happy with our service at East West Vets. Our girl Tiny has been having Bowen therapy with Sally, and we are seeing positive changes after 2 sessions. Thank you Sally.

Dr. Ann Nevill has treated our two dogs for many years. I took my Jack Russell to her after I had been told by another vet that so sorry there is nothing to be done to save my dog. Ann told me otherwise. Ann performed surgery on my dog, two very large growths were removed from her stomach & intestines and one from her spleen. This occurred three years ago, my dog is now 14 years old, enjoying a healthy, happy life. Ann saved my dogs life. My husband's dog has had knee surgery (she was lame due to another vet snapping hertendon in front of him). Ann performed her surgery one year ago his dog is now running and jumping. My husband and I are so grateful and thank full that Ann is our vet. We highly recommend her services and wisdom.

Thank you to Ann and the staff at East West Vets for taking the time to look after my girl Indie. We are trying some special treatments for her cancer care, and I feel very positive they are improving her quality of life and she is showing lots of improvement. Still taking it day by day, but for now spending time with Indie and watching her play and run around and be happy is all that matters.

Ann left my beloved dog in a terrible state. We have never seen him so unwell after such a simple procedure that he had undergone multiple times. I’m disgusted by her malpractice and the fact she calls her self a holistic vet is a joke. He was never the same after the incident that occurred here. Please please don’t make the mistake we did and take your beloved animals somewhere else .

Our family would like to thank Ann and everyone at East West for everything they did for our darling Jackie over the last 15 years.Jackie was nortoroius for finding ways to injure herself! Every time we took her to East West, she was always taken care of.Last friday we said goodbye to Jackie. Your staff were so thoughtful, patient and understanding. It was an incredibly hard decision to make for all of us.We also want to thank you for the card we received in the mail.Rest in Peace Jackie

My Dog was covered in a horrible itchy skin condition for eight years that's cost me thousands for specialists, anti biotics, steroid creams, shampoos, etc. Ann did a skin test and found out it was bacterial and not fungal for which specialists have been treating him for. Soaked him in pinetarsol and malaseb twice a week for a couple of weeks , and ive never seen him so releaved and happy. Thank you Ann for what you do.

Dr Ann Neville was recommended to me by my own vet who had used Ann to treat her own dog my kelpie had severely damage several discs in her back unable to have surgery and western medicine couldn't help I was looking at having to have her euthanasia Ann gave her accupunture and Chinese herbs and gave her an extra 5 years she sadly pass at 17yo As I highly value Ann's opinion I have just driven 4 hours to gain an opinion on my new dog having moved to regional Victoria thanks again Ann for all your help and advice
