Marge's Cottage

Perfect in every way…!

It is almost impossible to do justice in words to the wonderful place that is Marge's Cottage. The patina and eclectic style are perfectly balanced while the peace and privacy of this setting bring about an immediate sense of calm. During our stay, the weather chose not to cooperate but this was a blessing in disguise as we lit a fire, sipped our coffee and read books from the cottage's wonderful collection.Cheryl and Phil are perfect hosts and kind ambassadors for Gippsland. I have never written a review while still actually in the middle of the experience, and also in so much conflict between wanting to sing with delight about something and yet keep it secret for future visits. This place is a sensualist delight. Everywhere I look there is beauty, similar to being quiet in an old growth forest, where there is majesty as well as minute perfection. I am in awe at the attention to detail and warmth and humanity of this place. It is like a hug turned into a house.
