Cafe Elation
Cafe Elation was the first place I tried here in Sydney and it's been one of the few consistent ones. The positive experience on the first visit has been the norm through the many times I've gone back, and I'm thankful to have the place near to where I've been staying.The food has been consistently good and every dish I've tried has always tasted fresh and flavourful. My favourite so far has to be the Halloumi ALT on sourdough bread: a perfect combination of crunchiness and flavours! The coffee is pretty good as well. With that said, on my last visit I decided to try the Belgian" Hot Chocolate and it was a massive disappointment. The drink was very watery and with very little chocolate flavour: I'm pretty sure this was simply a chocolate flavoured powder and milk.Service is always prompt and although the staff isn't necessarily friendly

We went on a Saturday and it was a nice day to be sitting outside in the shade with the warmth of the sun. The food was ok. We had the special green tea noodle bowl and the smoke salmon smashed avo. Both were quite nice and very Asian inspired in flavours. Keen to try other things on the menu.

Dog friendly, friendly staff, big menu selection! It’s a western, Japanese fusion menu and taste and quality was of good quality! Will definitely return to try some of the specials!We had the Kani Scramble and Eel+egg, portions just nice. Generous crab and flying fish caviar on the Kani scramble. The brown rice quinoa gave a nice texture difference to the eel+egg and in totality every component in each dish paired nicely with layered taste and textures.Coffee, The Maple blend was nice as a long black. You can taste the coffee much better versus pairing it as a cap or latte in my opinion.Overall great place with decent coffee!

I'm reluctant to give this place a 5* not because the food+service is rubbish, but rather it's so nice that I do not want others to come here and ruin it for me.It's a smallish place, inside seats about 6 and outdoors seats a few more.The food, however, is another level. I've been here twice now and on both occasions the concepts are unique and flavours complimentary.First time, I had the steak sanga with caramelised onions, full of flavour beef coupled with a light Turkish bread. Only complaint is the serving is too small for the taste.Second time, I had the scrambled eggs with crab and fish roe. Thick brick of egg couple with crab on a thick fluffy brioche.

Great menu! They had a huge range of Japanese inspired meals, everything looked super tasty. We got the eggplant special dish and the salmon poke bowl. Food came out well presented and fresh. Coffee was excellent too. There is some shaded outdoor seating and a few tables inside too. Definitely somewhere you can come again and again and not be bored!

Great combination of east and west food.We ordered a wagyu burger and cold noodle plate, the noodle source is amazing with perfectly cooked chicken thigh. The burger is a bit too lean hence the 4 stars.Love the coffee, taste so smooth and you can feel hazelnut flavor in there, one of the best in Sydney.

Fantastic cafe with great selection of coffee bean options and food options. They have regular special single original and blends; we tried the Aspen and Maple today and they were aromatic and rich. The Maple went particularly well with almond milk. Food was delicious and fresh, will come back to try other menu items next time for brunch. Seating area is also nice as they have outside seating but right next to a main road so it does get quite noisy and dusty.
