WOW where do I start with this amazing photographer. From the get go Sonja made my partner and I feel extremely comfortable, and as though we were taking a few pics with a long time friend. She was able to capture the beautiful atmosphere of our day and the love so effortlessly. One of the things that I love most about Sonja is that she captures real life moments and none of that cheesy/ over posed" stuff we don't like. It all felt and looked so authentic and beautiful. For the price I had expected more, especially from the 2nd photographer hired through Sonja. We got only 1 or no photos of some key milestone moments on our wedding day. Sonja contacted us following this review to understand the issues and how they could have been avoided, this was appreciated.On a positive note, Sonja’s prints are beautiful and very high quality. Sonja herself was very helpful leading up to the day, she constantly went above and beyond to help us plan and schedule the day. She is also very easy to work with and plays to the couples strengths/ wants to make sure she captures the moment in the best way possible.

Aside from being incredibly talented, Sonja is such a warm and genuine person it honestly felt like we had a friend we’d known forever shooting our wedding in February.Sonja’s commitment to her craft and to her couples is second to none. I actually initially found Sonja’s work on Instagram after postponing our initial date during lockdown and fell in love with beautiful photos she had taken of a bride wearing the same designer I was wearing. At the time I was also looking for someone to alter my dress and commented on the photo thinking I’d never hear back - Sonja swiftly connected me with this bride and a seamstress was found. Safe to say when we picked our new date I knew there was only one person I wanted to shoot our wedding.On the day Sonja kept myself and my husband calm and our time shooting between the ceremony and reception was some of my favourite time from the day. We received our sneak peek photos within days of our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Sonja’s work is timeless and elegant, our wedding photos are more incredible than I ever could have imagined or hoped for and she truly captured the essence of our day. Thank you will never be enough!!!

Sonja photographed our wedding and our entire experience was nothing short of perfection. From the very first interaction (meeting before we engaged her for her services) to the wedding day Sonja is the most calming, friendly and genuine person. Her style is relaxed and she gently offers suggestions for photos, one of our favourite parts of our wedding day was walking around taking photos with Sonja snapping away as we were able to share some quiet moments together. Sonja was an absolute star. She was friendly, efficient and an amazing photographer. Sonja made us feel very comfortable during out shoot, and was able to capture some fantastic shots. We received images within days of our wedding, and the whole package within a month!

Sonja photographed my garden wedding a year ago (15/03). Her photography is stunning, and it really lives up to her portfolio. We got exactly what we wanted; they're very personal and beautiful photos.People often make their wedding memories in special places, and I think Sonja understands that. She excels at bringing out the beauty of both the couple and their surroundings in a tender and natural way. Looking at her photos a year later, I feel like I'm in that garden again. If you put in the work to find a beautiful or sentimental location, I really recommend Sonja; she captured the way the day felt perfectly.I'm shy, so I was very nervous about being photographed. She was super natural and kind, and I ended up coming out of my shell right away. I loved how enthusiastic she was about making the most of everything around us, and I knew right away the shots would be amazing.
