G.J. Gardner Homes - Cairns

We would highly recommend GJ Gardner Homes Cairns. The team are very professional and are always there to answer even the smallest queries. Erin was very receptive to our needs, even allowing us to request our preferred stove and airconditions, and came up with the perfect floorplan for us. The whole team were with us throughout the build, even contacting us on a regular basis to let us know how things were progressing. We cannot fault GJ Gardner Homes. Cheers to the whole team.

Day light RobberyTo put it in a nutshell they took some of the land that I bought from Stockland and gave it to my next door neighbour, by bringing in my boundary fence to my garage side wall. I would have had a boundary fence line running down about a metre away from the side of the garage wall, allowing for a bit of my land by the side of my garage and what would have been the boundary to the land I bought. I could have used that space for storage or plants. They gave that away to my next door neighbour without my permission.To make matters worse, the site foreman said to me and my wife, when I noticed the build discrepancy and I quote The next door have some of your land and that's just the way it is".We never received an apology or compensation for our loss.Even just 10% loss of land purchased at $110

We could not recommend Erin, John and the whole GJ team enough. We are extremely grateful for all the help and the constant updates we received throughout the build. Our home is beautiful and they have blown us away with the quality of it all.

As a first home builder, Mark, John and Anna provide comprehensive information so that I can build the house swiftly without any hiccups. I was guided well and was kept well informed during the building process. I guess if you have clear in mind of what you want without the need to make unnecessary alterations, GJ is definitely the way to go for efficient building process. Moreover, they use good quality building material which is money well spent. I strongly recommend GJ if you are novice in building houses.

From our initial meeting with Erin we knew we had chosen the right company to build our house. Erin assisted us with all the initial steps to get the build started. Our Project manager John was fantastic keeping us in the loop on all progress on the build. The whole GJ Gardner team of trades respectfully worked together to complete our beautiful home on time, we can highly recommend this company to anyone who wishes to build. We had never built a house before and whilst it is potentially a daunting process, the wonderful team at G.J. Gardner Homes - Cairns made the entire process seem so easy. Our first introduction to G.J. Gardner Homes was via Erin Schipanski (New Home Sales Consultant) at their display home located at Trinity Beach. Erin was fantastic and talked us through the entire building process from start to finish and easily answered all of our questions. Erin also acted as our intermediary with the in-house design team and helped us to settle on a customised design within the Edgewater range. Tayla Chapman (Design Consultant) guided us in choosing all the colours and fixtures. Tayla's advice and knowledge was invaluable during this process, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Last but not least was John Evans our project manager. John did an incredible job of managing all the trades during construction and his eye for detail was instrumental in delivering us, such a high-quality home. As we lived 5 1/2 hours away from Cairns - John and the team, kept us up to date with the build progress at every step of the way via emails, photos and phone calls. During our onsite visits, John would walk us through both what had transpired during our last visit and also what was due to occur during the next phase of construction. Erin and John at GJ Gardener were a pleasure to work with. Time delays were frustrating but expected in the current climate. Communication from the team was minimal but they were easy to get in contact with with any questions or concerns. And always happy to answer and help in any way they could. The finishes and small details to the home are above standard and I am very glad I choose to go with GJ Gardeners. Would definitely use them again for my next build!
