Why not? It’s my second home in the world.( Actually it’s almost first home) I got a lot of experience which is good, exiting and crazy.The owner is the one of best person who I’ve met. He is so friendly, kindly, gently(even when I made nasty things on the couch) and sometimes strictly(when I was wrong). He is a friend, brother and dad!!The rooms are not big. But it made me easy to make a good friend. The bed is the best one. It’s so comfortable and has privacy.A lot of people who stay there talk, drink and chill in outside. Sometimes it’s a bit loudly but I think this is Woopibackpackers and I love it.There are main beach just for 1 min from there on foot and back beach for 5 min on foot. It’s for surfing, snorkeling, swimming and hang out with friends. You can do whatever you want.There is a bar called Sam’s place. If you don’t have any alcohol, drink there!! You can play free pool. I’ve played it everyday with my friend.Finally there is a dog who is lovely and crazy. His name is Henry. When you have food, you need to be careful. Because he will put his face on your knee with really cute eyes to get some food. Don’t feed him please for him.

A long-time favourite. My preferred go to in the Coffs Coast region when road tripping between NSW Sth Coast and QLD.Cozy, clean, comfortable and wonderfully cosmopolitan, Sam and Rebecca run a tight (in a good way) and happy ship. The various living/eating/hanging out areas provide whatever atmosphere you want, from chilled to bubbly! Perfectly located for beach, cafe, bar and shopping access. Respectful rules and culture mean I've always had a good night's sleep here. Do yourself a favour, and wait awhile in Woopi.

I was looking for an accommodation in Woolgoolga and I came across Woopi Backpackers. We stayed only 4 nights and every day I discovered something good about this backpacker accommodation.My private room was tiny, maybe a shelf could have helped to store away a bit of things; sink in the room was very useful, towels and linen were provided. Showers had always hot water and provided rain like shower. Kitchen has big fridges to put away cold food and there are eight cooking tops. There are boxes on shells to store away the dry food and a shelf where to put salt and sauces. I saw people baking Anzac biscuits!There is a big lounge to chill out with tv. There is a table to play billiard, guitars, I even saw a didgeridoo, books and board games. I did not enquiry but I think is possible to rent out surfing boards and skate boards.The Backpackers is near to lovely coffee shops and places where to eat. Even the supermarket is not that far away, only 1.4km. Beautiful beaches are nearby.The Backpacker is also home for young people working in hospitality and doing outdoor jobs. It is possible to meet people from everywhere in the world giving the Backpackers a very strong cosmopolitan character.Practically Woopi Backpackers could be the quintessential backpacker in Australia.

I could miss a thousand sun rises and a thousand sunsets, just to spend my weekend here.The best staff, The best guests, The best location. This is not your normal hostel, this is a culture, where many tribes meet under one roof and share their tales from many different shores. An impenetrable fortress of personality and charm, if this place could speak, I don’t think I would be worthy to hear its sweet words.But really, 5 Stars. this place has been one of the best I have stayed in all my travels.

Very quiet and excellently run establishment, right in the heart of Woolgoolga. Great rates, very basic sleeping accommodation but with great facilities, especially the big, well-equipped kitchen and home-like downstairs living-area. Very friendly and welcoming here.

Very loud noise until two in the morning which made it hard to sleep. Feedback given was met by rudeness from owner and no cares given.

The best hostel in this area! Tidy and cozy. Only a few blocks to the beach.

One of the best hostels I've been in Australia... Very good kitchen with an oven, an amazing rain shower, enough space to store your clothes and a hostel dog that you could take for a walk. To top this off, you have free parking and an incredible private spacious cabin that is light proof and has enough electricity plugs... Literally the perfect hostel if you ask me!

Hands down, the best backpackers I’ve been to in Australia. Everyone is so welcoming. The staff are amazing and always there when you need help. Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough. If you’re a backpacker looking for farm work for your 88 days or just wanting to visit the area, this is your hostel. Thank you woopi backpackers!

capsule" bunk beds are very comfy and provide more privacy than classic bunk beds. Kitchen is clean and well organised. Location is 2 mins walk from the beach. Always full of amazing people including staff. Best hostel in Australia I've been to."
