The Kindest Goodbye

I’m so grateful that a service like this exists. We want the best for our pets and The Kindest Goodbye we’re just that. The loss of my lovely elderly cat has been hard but it would have been worse without this team. I got to keep her comfortable and happy in her own home. A special thank you to Sam the vet for coming so late to us, and Emily who booked us in.A little photo of our baby from before she was sick.

We had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to our beloved Labrador Millie, who was in great pain. We cannot speak highly enough of the professional team at The Kindest Goodbye. Dr Taylah, the kindest and most caring vet came to our home and gently put our Millie to sleep. Her passing was very gentle and respectful. It was a difficult experience for us, but being able to farewell her at home with minimal stress was invaluable. Thank-you.

From the initial online enquiry to the follow up booking and the rest of the way through, it was an easy process and empathetic staff including Kara who took the booking and Louise who came and put our old boy to his final peaceful sleep. They also fit us in on the same day which others weren't able to do.

This was such a difficult decision and time for me and my daughter. Our precious dog of 15yrs was at the end and we wanted her to be at home when the time came. The Kindest Goodbye was so understanding, empathetic and easy to work with to schedule and perform the procedure. We were able to pour all our love on our little dog without distraction or worry, in our own home. Our other pets were also able to have time with her afterwards to understand her passing.We miss her still. But we know she’s no longer suffering and was at home where she felt safe and loved.

Thank you for your help in our time of difficulty. We’re especially grateful to Doctor Lauren. She was caring, professional and sensitive, despite the trying day that she had had that day. The passing of our Marley was peaceful and calm and the best we could have hoped for for our great little friend, and we’re grateful to Dr. Lauren for helping to make it that way for us.

The Kindest Goodbye were absolutely amazing. They took as much time as we needed, explained it all to us and honestly it felt like having another family member be there. Our boy was more comfortable at home of course and that also made it easier for us to be with him. It was very peaceful and calm and I can’t imagine a better way for him to say goodbye to us.

I highly recommend The Kindest Goodbye. Saying goodbye to our baby Bella was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Being able to do it in our home and the comfort of her own bed made it a little easier. We were able to cradle her and comfort her as she crossed the rainbow bridge. The lady I spoke to, Ky, who helped me book the procedure and was so kind and understanding. When Dr Sam Marzouk came to our home, he was gentle and caring and gave us ample time with our baby to say our goodbyes. He explained the process and what we could expect and took the time to comfort us afterwards. We could not have asked for a better way for our Bella to go. It made a very painful and heartbreaking experience a little easier. Thank you both Dr Sam Marzouk and Ky for your kindness and compassion.

The genuine empathy, consideration, and care Dr Louise gave my Marzipan and I provided so much comfort on one of the most difficult days of my life. I am so grateful for this service, and for the responsiveness and kindness we received.

When the vet arrived, he gave us piece of mind and understood the pain we were going through. He clearly explained the process and gave us enough time to spend that one on one time to say our final goodbyes. I cannot thank them enough!
