Amongst the well maintained gardens on the GC. Beautiful views, great shade and bird sounds. Very great for walks, chills, BBQs and rest of you need a quiet and calm place to relax. Highly recommended.

Well maintained gardens with so much to do. Choices of picnic, kids playground, memorial to go through and just casual walks along the water body. Many clean toilets onsite. Grounds well maintained. Many sitting benches and barbecues. Highly recommended

Nice quiet spot for a picnic or BBQ. Beautiful canal running along side the park. Very well maintained. Well done GCCC. Beautiful spot also to fish and relax.

At the highest point in the centre of the park, there is memorial Plaque on a small headstone to Neddy Harper, it rests above the sp0t where he is buried. The earliest and most meaningful dedication to an early pioneer in the local area. When racism was common he spoke 3 Aboriginal languages and had ongoing interactions and care for, and of the local Mobs.

Beautiful spot for a picnic. Lovely gardens and plenty of seating areas. Taps with fresh water available. Plenty of shade. Playground.
