The Houston Wagga

Absolutely stunning room. The building itself is gorgeous and the verandah was the perfect place to sit and relax amongst the beautiful big trees. The granola and yoghurt breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine made a great coffee.The only improvement we could suggest would be a full length mirror in the room.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Loved every minute. Beautiful character filled accommodation that was immaculately clean. Walking distance to town centre and quietly positioned in tree lined street. Definitely want to go back!

WOW WOW WOWYou can't beat this place.. what a beautiful place to stay.. immaculately clean and so well presented.. The room was just stunning.. you can't beat it for the price and the breakfast was a treat not to mention the coffee machine!! That was a nice surprise...I will be recommending this to everyone..The only thing I would recommend is better lighting in the bathroom over the mirror, I found it rather difficult to do my makeup at night..All in all this was an absolute delight and will now be my regular place to stay when in Wagga..

We recently stayed at The Houston for our sons wedding. I drive past the venue quite often and had always wanted a reason to have a night in there. I have always admired the building, and after our 2 night stay, I must say it did not disappoint. Our room was surprisingly large, it was beautifully presented. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and I did take the pillowcase off to see where the pillow was from so I can go purchase my own. The bathroom was spotless, with a large bath, the kitchette had more than what we needed for our stay, we had fresh fruit, fresh granola and yoghurt jars which was perfect for our early morning. It was lovely and quiet, within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Houston and I will definitely be staying here again and am looking forward to doing so.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The check-in process was excellent, we went straight to our room with no fuss. The room itself was small but with a high ceiling so felt roomy. The bed looked amazing and was very comfortable. We were provided with everything we could need for a single night stay including breakfast and I wish I had booked for longer. Only thing that could be improved is the noise getting in from outside and the next room over. We could hear a tv, snoring and people talking outside. Not an issue for me but my partner isnt a heavy sleeper.

The team at the Houston were extremely helpful and efficient in assisting us with our booking. The space was clean and comfortable, with most things accessible via a short walk, or a very short drive.

We stayed at the Houston for our wedding, both the night before and the night of. We cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent communication and thoughtful service over the course of our stay. They truely went above and beyond

This was a beautifully restored historc building in such a great location. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. We got our check in details earlier than advertised, which was a great relief.Our only criticism was the room servicing. Our breakfast was not restocked completely. On a long weekend when other options were unavailable, we were relying on breakfast in our room, but it was not fully restocked after the first day. Neither was the bathroom supplies.Other than that, we really really loved this place!

Can't believe I haven't come across this gem until recently. Yes, price poi t is a little higher than my usual stay, but you get what you pay for. Great for couples stay and family stay. A little nook of luxury and comfort with good looking little courtyard. Will have to bring my camera next time I stay there. Autumn is definitely the time to visit the place, with the autumn leaves flying and dropping. Quite picturesque. The rooms are of quality and class. Small but spacious, old sylte but modern luxury.
