not going to lie. Always walk past or drove past this place and always saw a line outside a lot of these coffee shops can be pretentious and overpriced, but this place actually was not only worth the money. The coffee was amazing. I had a soy latte with no sugar and this was the least bitter coffee I've ever had. So smooth the Acai bowl was worth the money and so big that me and my friend had to ask for a takeaway container which they gave us would definitely go back again and recommend The staf are also Very friendly too!

A really busy spot. Long line up for tables.Good coffee and fresh juices.Surcharges apply on Sunday. The dish portion is small in comparison with the price menu.I won't recommend seating outdoors nearby the street as the traffic at the weekend can be heavy.

Fantastic looking eggs Benny, but that's about where the positives end unfortunately.. The hollandaise tasted more like mayo than hollandaise to be honest, and when the other sauce they put on it is so powerful you need the rich hollandaise sauce to balance it out. Pretty disappointed because it's not cheap at almost $30.

Food was generally ok - its not value for money/quality though and I had to get another dish as well. The coffee wasn't that great and it was clear it wasn't made very well. Honestly this place is ok if you are catching up with friends etc. but if you have any young kids - the layout of the store doesn't suit. I.e. they've got quite a few high seating area (fyi disregard what they say about the high seating area being suited for kid - it's 100% not). Also very obvious is their focus for hygiene - I got handed a napkin that was dirty.

The only redeemable factor is the food. Staff seem to genuinely hate their lives, the cafe, and us.We were seated at a dirty table and when the staff member came to wipe the table, she wiped the crumbs onto our laps. When it came to ordering, we made sure to communicate our dietary requirements and what we would like substituted (goats milk is OK,we're just intolerant to cows milk). We could tell the staff member was not engaged and just on auto pilot scribbling down our order, so we tried to help her by clarifying our order. She didn't repeat the order to double check so we assumed she got it. A few minutes later a different staff member came to our table and said the chefs were confused with our order. Annoying cause we really tried to help the girl taking our order. The table water jugs and cups were dirty. Food came out but we never got cutlery and napkins - had to ask. When we got our food and coffee it was just rudely placed infront of us without specifying what it was.Such a shame because the location, decor, and food at Left Field is a real gem, I can tell the owners put their soul into the cafe.

Wanted to know what this humble Cafe was all about in suburban Carnegie. It was my first time here at the cafe and boy oh boy I loved this place. Was packed for a Sunday brunch and few queues followed waiting to dine in.We had a booking which helped get a table at the back.Food was amazing and freshness was top notch. Coffees on point with the coffee used and heat of the milk. Absolutely loved the watermelon juice they served.Pulled pork Burger to Salmon to even the humble potato chips were delicious enough for me to come back here and dine.

Great brunch place with reasonable prices. We got the porridge and baked beans with a flat white, which was all delicious. The porridge is a light dish and has a good balance of flavours. The baked beans were sensational, but they needed one more slice of toast.Expect to spend around $19-25 for a dish here.

I’m sorry I hate leaving bad reviews but this was not worth the and time to spend on a brunch.- staff members are absolutely unprofessional, after waiting to be seated we waited 20+ minutes to get a menu, I had to stand up and get my own menu as almost begged to take my order. No water was served to the table however everyone around was.- pulled pork Benedict: the pulled pork seems to be steamed watery pork with 0 flavours felt like chewing a rubber boot, apple garnish was way too sour and was over powering the flavour with tart- salmon again 0 flavour with no spices and did not feel fresh at all.

Great brunch spot in Carnegie.Had the middle eastern slow cooked lamb and loved the flavours and textures of the dish. The lamb was well spiced and the mix of kale, pomegranate and feta was an unexpected but delicious combination. The hummus on the side was one of the best I've tasted. The slow cooked pulled pork benedict was slightly disappointing, felt that the apple cider vinaigrette was a touch too strong which overtook the hollandaise sauce and the flavour of the pulled pork. It was a shame that the hash brown was placed below the pork and sauces as it became soggy and the dish had a very mushy texture without anything crunchy to balance it out.Drinks were interesting, had the spiced hot chocolate which was not too sweet with a kick of heat. The smoothie had a very protein powder taste which was expected since it was mentioned in the menu and was quite filling. The drinks were pretty good but not sure if it's worth the price in my opinion.
