Wow really good food. The atmosphere was amazing. This little Cafe packs a serious punch in taste. Hidden treasure in Burra.

Went to the White Cedars Cafe for our wedding lunch. Loved the warm welcoming atmosphere and loved the decor. The food was amazing and the owners Putu and Francis were great guys and very accommodating. Would recommend you drop in if your ever in Burra.

We dined here last night. Really delicious authentic Indonesian food cooked well. Not a huge menu but good. We had fish curry & gadogado. Unfortunately we were advised the place is closing down end of this week.

Such an incredible gem for our breakfast in sleepy Burra. A luxurious culinary experience from the moment you walk in, each piece of artwork and cup precisely chosen and beautifully arranged. We had the Nasi Goreng and my son had the banana pancakes, along with flat whites. The portions were extremely generous and the food was to die for. Our wonderful hosts made us feel right at home and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day. Hope we meet again some day!

Such a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, a great retreat from busy city restaurants. Very authentic Indonesian food. Remember to have a booking for this beautiful restaurant!

We were surprised to see an Indonesian restaurant out in Burra and decided to give it a try and we are very happy we did. The food was honest and delicious and the hosts were kind and pleasant. It turns out the restaurant will be closing soon after 16 years of service so make sure you make it out here before it does!

My partner and I moved to Burra In August and very soon after dined at White Cedars. I never usually review restaurants unless they are really really bad or really really good. With this Cafe it's the later....the food is really amazing. I think we have tried just about everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed at all. The ambience of the Cafe and also the garden (which is set up over the warmer months to allow alfresco garden dining) is truly unique and visually stimulating. The owners are both warm and welcoming and the chef has a sensational sense of humour which makes you feel welcome from the get go. Locals and visitors alike flock to this little eatery with vigor and gusto. Please do yourself a favour and visit White Cedars.....you won't be disappointed. Cost of food is very reasonable especially for the amount your served. Bon appetite.....

The sort of place you go when you want to get away. It feels like you have literally traveled to Indonesia with both the decor and the food whisking you away to another place entirely. The hospitality of your hosts at the venue make you feel a lot like you are already at home with great service and care given to ensure you enjoy your time. The food is authentic, well priced and very tasty, it is always a treat to visit when on the road traveling through a small town such as Burra. A must visit when you are in the area.

Nice find in the country, good for glutenfree & vegetarian. Came for dinner: really fresh vegetables, tasty sauces, great Barramundi, nice rice crackers. Book ahead for dinner as it's not a really big place (unless it's warm enough for the garden tables too). Brekky pancakes sounded delish, must come back some time!

Went there on a whim, but partly because of our love of Indonesian food. This is excellent home style Indonesian. The service is quietly good but you have t take into account this is a two man show, one in the front and one Chef,. They are not over ambitious and keep to a small number of tables to they can offer good service. I would recommend to anyone who likes or wants to try indonesian cuisine...
