Wayne and Ben went above and beyond chasing an issue I had with my '75 Kombi. They not only ran it on the dyno but they drove it as I was until the issue showed up and they fixed it. WPVW not only fixed the issue but they got my car running beautifully, it's smooth as silk and has awesome power. To say I'm happy with ther service and experise is an understatement. I cannot praise Wayne and Ben highly enough for the way that they treated me as a new customer and for the way that they made Lola run so sweetly. I had recently purchased a 1974 Kombi which I decided to call Lola. She was in pretty good nick but she ran a bit rough, had a top speed of about 90 and I had a few issues with the sliding door. I was recommended to take Lola to see Wayne and Ben and I am so glad I did. They treated me like part of their VW family and were in contact with me, letting me know through phone calls and pictures the work they were doing on Lola.When I picked her up I couldn't get the smile off my face. She ran so smoothly and the door works like a new one! They have so many parts in their workshop and their knowledge of Vdubs is amazing. Lola was able to cruise back home comfortably on 100 and she has been so easy to start in the morning.Both Wayne and Ben were very friendly and helpful, showing me and my friend around their Aladdin's cave of VWs. If you own a VW with an air-cooled motor then these two guys know how to look after you and your car.Definitely FIVE star rating!

I had wpvw rebuild my type 1 2387cc engine that was frankly had it. Wayne and staff did a brilliant job and having now driven with my new engine I can say that it is incredible. A vw with no oil leaks, I've got one thanks to Wayne. I asked Wayne to roll in any improvements that he saw got from his extensive racing experience and he's done it, the thing is a reliable missile and you couldn't find a nicer, more professional group to deal with. I even asked if they could run my new engine in for me, not a problem. How great is that. I've got a full servicing instruction set and an on going technical resource that is second to none.. This is all normal for wpvw. Zero regrets.

After struggling to find good service available in my home town, I booked in with Wayne Penrose a month out, loaded up my beetle on a trailer and towed it the 3 hours to have some mechanical repairs and a service done. I am so glad I found Wayne Penrose VW to sort out my 1958 Beetle. They were very thorough, straight forward and very well priced. I bought this little beauty earlier this year. Wayne and Ben worked through a list of maintenance and replacement items to make it roadworthy. It is a joy to drive . These guys are professionals! Wayne and Ben have made my 1974 Bay Kombi much more reliable with a reconditioned motor and gearbox. Wayne is very passionate about VW’s, and he is thorough with his explanations and his workmanship. Terrific new workshop too.
