Good location but that's just about as far as it goes, (excluding communications with Kell for the last 6 months of my lease)My apartment door jammed and we were locked in for over 10 hours. The building manager told us we would have to wait until the morning and refused to do anything about it until I asked who was liable if we were locked in and a fire broke out.(Different events to the above) The building manager then less than a week later entered my apartment without notice to 'speak to me' after I had emailed to ask why contractors were allowed in without notice as it was not an emergency. He knocked on the door and when I didn't answer unlocked the door with the master key...? Invading and intimidating, to say the least.Makes me curious if and how many times before this has occured.Excessive charges for the selected electricity companyBelittling and passive-aggressive communications, and forever blaming someone else for their plain ignorance.Also be weary of how often they send the same water bill to you... even after it has been paid :)

I had a great experience with Newstead Rentals , they made my stay at Capri wonderful! Katerina and Kell were super attentive and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great apartments in a convenient location.

We had a very good experience with Newstead Rentals while living in the Capri building, all staff were very prompt in all communications. Our apartment was up for sale in the end and rather than informing us we needed to leave once our lease had run out they took the time to help us find another apartment within the complex because it is such a great area to live in. They were very understanding of issues that arose, for example a bond clean didn't go quite as planned from some hired cleaners and they were super kind and understanding allowing us to rectify these problems with no late fees. Would absolutely recommend Newstead Rentals, and like any office/agency, if you do the right thing they'll do right by you too which is definitely what we received from this company.

Kell & the team at Newstead Rentals are an absolute delight and world class to deal with. During my 1 year renting an apartment in St Tropez all communication and support exceeded exceptions. Thoroughly enjoyed living in the building!! Thanks team

I have rented through Newstead rentals for almost two years now. I lived in Capri then moved to Laguna which I still reside and have had Katerina as my property manager for both apartments and have nothing but good things to say! The bond hand over and move was smooth and easy.Anytime I have questions or need help the response time is always instant. For Newstead, the pricing and quality of apartments are amazing. I would recommend to anyone

Lived in this complex for 3 years in 3 different units, the units them self are fine but management is shocking and can come across passive aggressive more often then not, ( unless you are dealing with Kel ). maintenance request are often ignored or take months to be actioned after constant request, leaving the complex I did a bond clean on my unit far beyond what would be expected to done nor do I believe one was done to the unit before I moved in as I added so much to the entry report, I went to the extent of repairing hole and chips in the walls and colour matched to paint over it they were in my entry report, there was about 14 that I fixed, they took majority of my bond included charges for light globes that were stated in my entry report as not working, communication was in place that I would be refunded by Newstead rentals for this but never received such refund. Also know to send repeated bills in which you may have already paid or bills for periods in which you weren’t even living in the complex. Chosen energy provider charges excessively on their bills.If you do move into the complex it won’t take you long to realise why they have such poor reviews and those reviews that are good are often by friends of people that work their ( I know this as I and others I know we’re approached to leave a good review to fix the issue they have had with these reviews )

I was a tenant in St Tropez for 18 months and always had pretty positive experiences with most of the staff there. Aside from a couple of miscommunications (we are all human of course) and alot of entry notices for the sale of my apartment I really enjoyed living here and being a part of such a great little community. Thank you Amy, Peter and Kell for always being kind, understanding and respectful to me during my stay.Cheers - Jess & Milly :)

Avoid living here at all costs.The building looks decent from the outside, however after probably a day of living there you’ll start to notice the many structural issues.To begin with, the complex is extremely large, one lift had been out of order for nearly 4 months, with little to no communication from the building manager on when this would be rectified. Following the lifts being out of order, we were all asked to stagger our times when leaving and entering the building to avoid lift traffic. Management then thought it appropriate to increase all tenants rent in the building, ranging from $40-$130 in some cases. Absolutely appalling.The pool is situated on level 4, is left unclean and filthy at all times, is icy cold even during summer, and gets absolutely no sun.The apartments themselves are made from the cheapest quality of materials, which you’ll notice very rapidly. The drainage is terrible, leaving horrible smells wafting through all the apartments, no matter how responsible the tenant is.Their chosen energy provider (altogether group) is ridiculously expensive. You don’t have a choice in provider.Don’t even get me started on building management, the business is run by Peter and his wife Amy, whom together enjoy terrorising their tenants. They are not open to any negative feedback, and will threaten you with a defamation suit if they get wind of anyone expressing their honest experiences. They have 0 respect for the privacy of tenants, they are rude and aggressive people whom tenants feel threatened by in their own homes.Kell is the only staff member whom is pleasant to deal with.I am extremely grateful to be out of their tyranny once and for all.Good luck, and good riddance!

I had a great experience with the team at Newstead Rentals. I visited over a dozen apartments and dealt with numerous property managers, however; Kell was the best. She was delightful to deal with and went above and beyond to help me find the right apartment. My current property manager, Katerina is assertive and proactive and there is no one else I would want looking after my apartment. Highly Recommend
