RK were lovely to deal with and honest!We had received some dubious and quite frankly rude service from another mechanic in Cairns. Thankfully we found RK Motors and the friendly team put us back on the road. Thank you to Guy for taking care of us and really helping us through a difficult situation.Let me tell you when you’re travelling around the county it’s hard to find reliable mechanics like RK Motors on short notice.

HUGE SCAM FOR BACKPACKERS!!I'm a 25y/o german backpacker who bought a car (Ford Territory) 10 months ago when I first arrived in Australia in Sydney. Before I left Australia from Cairns I went to RK Motors to get my RWC (Roadworthy Certificate) to sell my car but RK Motors found 7 different problems that I needed to fix to get my RWC. One of those things for example was my passenger window, I could pull it down but at a certain level I couldn't pull it up again and I had to use my hands to pull the window up. In the guidelines it says At least half of the number of windows which are designed to be opened

Fantastic, honest service from what appear to be very hard-working staff. Clearly busy but managed to fit our Proton in and it was finished without delay. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost for thorough work. Running beautifully now.

Thanks RK for helping with the roadworthy test and the certificate for NSW really professional and NO charge for the second check after some jobs were done at the VW center was great. Kept my holiday on the road.

these guys did a rwc on a car that i brought only to get a second opinion and the car should not have passed, big wholes in the mufflers an a whole list i can write but. please, if you are getting a rwc done don't get it done by these people.

Poor Service.I had an appointment at R. K. MOTORS through the dealership where we purchased our car. The parties were in contact, so I arrived at R. K. MOTORS on the agreed-upon day and time, but I was told there were no arrangements.Apparently, there was a breakdown of communication between them, so no one knew what was going on. Many factors can lead to mistakes, but none account for the subpar service I received from R. K. MOTORS. It's incredibly disappointing!R. K. MOTORS workers are unwilling to treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve.As a result of the poor service, I was informed after 4 hours of waiting that the job had not been completed for the second time because the part was not suitable for our vehicle.Poor Communication, Customer Service, and Manners.

Provided my nephew with a Roadworthy for a faulty vehicle. Still haven't fixed the multiple issues with his car. Wouldn't recommend this place.

My car purchased from a car dealership had a RWC done on it before I bought it. It should not have passed RWC as it had 3 different tyre brands and you're legally only aloud 2 different brands. A week later I was told 3 tyres were bold and should bot have passed RWC aswell. Definelty won't recommend this place

Came in 5mins ealrier than scheduled to reception and got sworne at along with aggressive body language, because I disturbed his lunch time, all while I was very polite. All other staff were nice but this man did not behave correctly.

Booked my car in for a small repair, ended up with a bill way more than I was told it would be, they also returned my car with the passenger side window completely bubbled, severely impairing the driver of seeing oncoming traffic, and also deeply scratched the roof paintwork. Didn't own up to any of the damage and said it wasn't their problem. Will never recommend.
