Storytelling Photography By Steph

When our wedding was postponed because of COVID, we knew we wanted to make our original wedding day special – and Steph added so much extra magic; more than we could've ever imagined! I was so warmed by Steph's efforts to visit the location of our photoshoot on the Gold Coast a week or so beforehand to suss out some great spots. This was a significant length drive (around an hour one way) which Steph did not have to do but she made the extra effort and that truly blew me away. Then, again earlier on the day of our shoot Steph travelled to our locations to see what was happening in the area ahead of our photoshoot time. Steph kept me up to date with the sunset times, weather and even the tides in the lead up to the day (since we were on the beach for some)! Steph was so laidback and easy to work with. It truly felt like just a day of us being us and then having the memories to relive forever. Steph captured the most glorious photos of us – some even of the way my partner looks at me which were surprising to see and melted my heart! We are absolutely in love with our photos and can't stop looking through the album!! If you want a photographer who truly captures the essence of who you are, Steph is your gal. Knowing us and our style, Steph even brought along some new filters (?) to add extra effects to our photos and they are like nothing I've ever seen before! We planned the shoot ahead of time which meant we could change outfits and locations from our hotel to the nearby beach. Steph knew the exact right times to shoot outdoors, capturing a magical golden sunset. I know for sure we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. They'll hang in our home and be shown to our grandkids – to relive a day in our personal history for many years to come. Steph, we cannot thank you enough!! I contacted Steph after finding her Instagram page which is filled with photos of mums, dads and children beaming with joy! The happiness and special moments captured in these photos were none like I had seen before! I loved that the photos were in the moment- not planned, not staged -just pure unadulterated joy! The best photographer I've ever had.I was looking for a maternity photoshoot that was super natural and without any poses.My husband and I wanted to feel comfortable and enjoy the moment.Steph helped me find the best outfit exactly as I wanted it. Steph is amazing! We have used her for maternity, newborn and two family shoots and everytime I look at our photos I love them even more. Steph has an amazing ability to capture you being you as a family, which is what really sets her ahead of other photographers. She has caught so many beautiful moments of our boys just being themselves which I will treasure.In addition Steph is so lovely, makes you feel totally comfortable and even my husband (a self confessed awkward turtle introvert) enjoys the shoots we've done. Stephanie is a very talented person, passionate about her work, its meaning and what she can bring to people through her photos. She has a great eye for detail and cares about making her clients at ease. She's calm and compassionate, energetic and very reliable. She's also very quick to respond to any requests. Stephanie has pictured my 3rd pregnancy and has done it so beautifully and elegantly. I always thought I don't particularly look photogenic but she did an amazing job! I got so many compliments about our session, I can only recommend her highly.

Steph is amazing, she captures your family in a natural setting, as they are. Nothing is forced makes the experience a pleasure. Can't wait for my next family photos:)

Steph has a way of making you feel calm and comfortable in front of the camera while she chats to you about life and your new little one. She was able to do an in home shoot which was perfect as if we had to go somewhere we probably never would have those memories. She took her time and went with our pace. The moments she captured tell a story like her business name suggests and we are so grateful to have that stage of life recorded. Steph has beautiful colour to her images that she aims to keep natural looking and is very generous with the gallery she provides.
