customer service was appalling. The staff member who served me had no idea what the returns policy was. Was completely unhelpful. Didn't even try to come up with a solution and was completely unapologetic. Told me to come back when the manager was in and treated me like my time was not important. Not my first bad experience at a house store. Will not be shopping here again.

Extremely poor quality products with exorbitant rrp.Purchased a cheaply made knife block set with a rrp of over $900. Thought it would be quality but the reality was the complete opposite just from looking at it.Went straight in to the Golden Grove store for a simple return and had the worst experience. Had to deal with a very rude manager who showed no courtesy or respect. Left me standing waiting at the store counter for over 20 mins. No apology given. Was not friendly from the start and difficult to deal with. Staff took the box i brought back completely apart even though it had barely been opened to begin with.Went in thinking it would be a smooth and straight-forward transaction but was met with contempt and unbelievably poor customer service. Felt like I was being unfairly scrutinised and the whole process dragged out and made difficult for the sake of it. The whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable and upset at how they treat their customers.Will not be shopping here again, let alone at any other House store. Would give zero stars if I could.
