They do have pretty good deals but all the meats always on display till on the day of expiry/best before date even till late afternoonWe been to this store few times bought few mince packs, roast meat and even marinated meats but yesterday we got some chicken breast it was off this morning when I try pack it to move away in the freezer! Smells weird like cleaning product on it too!!! I just have to throw out the whole tray cost us $17 (especially in these time with skyrocketing meat/food prices)I would say try to purchase meats before their best before date just to be safe and save our money too!

I live in a town nearby and have difficulty buying marrow bones. Now that I have discovered Tasman Meats they are always obliging, pleasant, with nothing too difficult or onerous. They work as a team and are so keen to help. Thankyou, thankyou.Jane

Not a bad selection. Nice pork belly with bones is a rare find. Chicken carcasses and other bones for broths also stocked.

Only gave 1 star so i can leave this. All jokes aside. We had some snags from the ballarat shop and they were amazing. Unfortunately the snags and pattys at this sheppaton branch are terrible. Minute steak was good as far as minute steak can be (at least it was tender). This branch has let the name down as i wouldn't try another again if this was the first 1 i went to. We'll have to wait untill we go to ballarat again for a good snag again

The products are fine, but the store needs to rethink their environmental policies especially around the use of plastic bags. I requested that I wasn't given a plastic bag and the staff member serving me insisted I use one. When I said I'd prefer to save the planet, they said they'd rather I didn't cut my fingers off on the packaging. If I'm at risk of doing that, then there's a severe issue with the packaging. Humans need to start taking real steps towards refusing and reducing plastic if we want to ensure this planet doesnt die on us. This experience left me feeling really sad and frustrated that this person didn't seem to care at all about my wishes to do my part.
