Hi-Tech Mechanical Darra

I am in the process of purchasing a used vehicle and asked for an independent mechanical and safety inspection done. The Hi-tech team were already super busy bit accommodated my request and coordinated with the dealer, giving me a call when it was all done to let me know what the issues were. By being so honest they have saved me from potentially making a rather large mistake and purchssing a car that could cause further problems down the line. Highly recommend the team at Hi-tech!

They have no customer service or what so ever . Very slow don’t really know what they are doing not really sure if they are qualified mechanics .Not Recommended at all

Recently purchased a Hilux ute that was out of rego and needed a safety certificate. Spoke to Aaron about a few things I was concerned about, and within an hour the guys had completed the inspection and road worthy certificate, articulated the issues I had pointed out. They had actually been extremely thorough, and gave me some advice on the best way to rectify concerns I pointed out, and charged me hardly anything.. I would of paid twice the amount. These guys are good, easy to deal with and I certainly would recommend their services to anyone. Thanks guys, very impressed by your level of knowledge, customer service and pricing.

Great service and good pricing

We had a car delivered from Victoria which needed a roadworthy certificate. I called this company with 1hrs notice to see if they had the time to fit us in. The car arrived, delivered to the shop at 1400hrs, road worthy completed by 1500hrs, which allowed us to register the vehicle and be able to drive it on the weekend. The staff were amazing, the efficiency and professionalism was outstanding. Would highly recommend Hi-Tech to anyone I know. We will be returning.

BEWARE I have a small local buisness and used them to repair a customers vehicle and my office paid them twice accidently and they never returned the over payment had to take them to small claims and got some back but still owe $1250 so they will be getting another day in court total liars and dishonest people , have no empathy about who they rip off.

First time customer at this mechanic and can say I wasn't stoked with the cost associated with the work conducted.Beware of asking for extra work outside the quoted price as they'll charge you at a higher rate without communicating this. I asked for my wheel bearings to be tightened and my handbrake adjusted if they had the time. These two alone added $250 onto my total. They also inspected my entire handbrake system unnecessarily adding to the extra cost. Handbrake adjustment would've taken 10 - 20min by simply adjusting a sprocket in the hub. Wheel bearings are a 40min job for myself. Both of these take less time with the wheels already off (also got a wheel balance).They also charge by the hour so if your job takes 80min, expect to be rounded up. Good to know they like picking the pockets of their customer's.Execution was good, staff was friendly but the lack of communication on the price was a real let down. I would've declined if I was made aware.Hope they straighten themselves out.

They have looked after my family vehicles for more than 6 years. I have just been ripped off by ABS Auto Brakes and Service @ Darra, due to a pre purchase of a voucher (it's my own fault, will never do that again). The mechanic in Hi Tec had loads of car to deal with today, but he was so kind enough to take the time to check my car and speak with me about my concerns and the ridiculous claims of other company have urged me to do with my car. I will never go elsewhere and will only trust them to take care of my car.

Wow thanks for your excellent work on our cars brakes as the disc was in 2 pieces and totally stuffed which you repaired very quickly and professionally
