Look for Andrew he's got good deals and don't waste time. I was in and out in about 10min and got the perfect rug. Thanks Andrew!Edit: Fast forward almost a month and the rug catches easily and clumps are forming. Maybe it isn't a very high end rug :(

Terrible experience. Ordered a rug which was to be to be delivered to the store the following Thursday only for them to say the it was forgotten. This same excuse was then made for the next 2 weeks. ‘Forgotten but the delivery driver’. The retail assistant who first served us didn’t even want to turn around and speak to us when we went into the the store to pick it up( and it hadn’t been delivered so obviously why she didn’t want to turn around). Also to call the store is a nightmare. Both my partner and I rang them at least 5 times and only rang through.

Bought hybrid spotted gum flooring and had a great experience. From the service in store, the measure by Ben and the laying by Leo and his crew, they were very profesdional and helpful.

Stay clear of this place - they are good sellers but that's pretty much it and forget any 20 year of warrenty. My floor started to move after about 1 year and even though I was told it will get replaced I had to fix it myself. I also noticed a chip on the stairs which was attributed to the 'wear and tear' after a decorug person couldn't pass it as a water damage or as-manufactured condition - he certainly tried. Not to mention that I was ignored for months - certainly avoid the Bankstown office they don't reply to emails or calls. After months of calling them I was told that they are not going to do anything as I already fixed the moving floor problem and the chip on the stairs is 'wear and tear'. Just stay clear of Decorug.

Horrendous business to deal with for flooring. I paid the deposit in November and they promised to do it that month. Had a call a couple of days before work was due to commence saying the timber was now out of stock. Charged me more money for a substitute. Had to push back the install date as apparently the fitter was now unavailable despite them saying it was locked in. When the fitter finally came he said he didn't want to do the work as the floor required too much levelling (when the site was inspected they said it would be a small levelling job costing $200 extra but now wanted $2200). They had to find another fitter that wanted to do it, the old timber was now in stock but they didn't refund me the difference back. The fitter did an awful job levelling so there's now an obvious mound in the corner of the room. We initially ordered Scotia but the first fitter said only skirting would be possible. The new fitter said only skirting was possible. They then installed the wrong colour Scotia, even though I told them that wasn't what we ordered. It took weeks to find another fitter to come and replace the scotia, when he finally came he had the same scotia that was installed. It's now been 2.5 months of me chasing to get this changed. I've not been contacted once without me calling or going in store to ask for an update. In-store say HQ handle refunds and HQ say in-store team do. Worst retail experience I've ever had.

Excellent service from John (in store). Brought in my cow hide rug bought a couple of years ago (from another store) to get it repaired. Without question John arranged to get the old receipts and offered for a repair. The service and enthusiast that John and his team provided was simply amazing that you don’t get in many retail stores nowadays. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone looking to get a rug. kudos to team carringbah
