It's pub food of the style you got 10-15 years ago. Certainly not bad, but not gastro pub by any means. Mains were $30 though, so you're paying for the view.

This cafe no longer exists....it's actually the pub/bistro next door. Typical pub meal, nice but nothing spectacular. Passable.

Really helpful staff despite being super busy. Nice pub food. Decent price. They managed to find us a table on new year's day despite the fact we didn't have a booking in advance. As pubs go, this one was exactly what we needed.

The food was so so, service was good and fast. There's a gambling area with slot machines at the back of the restaurant, which makes the whole place quite shallow. Not recommended unless you're looking for a quick bite during a roadtrip

Unfortunately very average. First waitress was not friendly or helpful, but the second waitress was nice and very helpful. As far as food goes, basic pub food for high price point.

Got the Beachfront Special “sticky chicken wings” for a steep price of $24. Yes it was Easter Monday but there should of been at least a mention about wait times while ordering as the food took just under an hour to come out. When the food came out, the 4 chicken wings that were generously served were overcooked on a bed of glunky tasteless white rice. There was no discourse with the waiters. There was no apology about the delay or a mention on how our food was. 2 stars because it was edible, otherwise a $10 price would be suffice. 4 chicken wings and a bit of rice would cost under $5 to make at home. Do. Not. Recommend.

Stop there for lunch, ordered fish and chipsHow very disappointing, when I asked for sort of fish it isthey said it will be white!!! It was a very bad meal !!!I do NOT recommend to go there for meal, save your self money.

Only ok. Service was good enough. Annoyingly children are not allowed onto the outside deck as it is reserved for smokers. Why give smokers the best room in the house? I don't understand it.

Nice location, lacks any type of customer service.Was visiting Bicheno and we picked this place for dinner as it has a great location. The lady who served us was insanely rude and lacked any type of customer service. This put a bad taste on the night. Which is a shame as food was nice. For a small town I would expect better service.
