Free parking near the beach! On a good day Newport beach is as good as any beach gets. Beautiful pool and aquamarine waters. SLC should consider moving flags to South end more often as south end can be safer.

Somebody has said but it's rockpool is in very bad condition"!! .. huh! That's part of the charm! We love Newport Beach .. regular visitors with the kids .. very handy beach facilities rendered by the Surf Club .. thanks

We love the Friday's with the band playing great 70s music. Drinks reasonable pricesNice friendly people but clicky so bring your own friends if you want a chat.Great view of the ocean and beach between 2 headlands.

Very good spot to do nippers for your child. The waters are a bit rougher than other beaches so if you don't know how to swim would suggest going to a different beach. Lifeguards there are cool and have patched me up on more than one occasion.
