Revesby Station

Upgraded station, one of the main ones on this line, so almost every train to and from the city stops here. Plenty of parking in the nearby multi story car park. Currently having more renovation done just outside on the north side. Close to the Revesby Workers Club.

Terrible connections. I arrived on platform 2 and was needing to head to platform 4 in order to make my Macarthur train and even though I ran I missed it! Had to wait for the next train in 20 minutes…

Multi-storey commuter car park entrance is at the end of Wilders Lane where it meets Simmons St. The first levels are 3 hour parking only, levels 2-5 are all-day parking for commuters.

It's fairly annoying that the transport union still believes it can throw its weight around by making life difficult for commuters. These rolling Thursday strikes began a few weeks toward the end of the most recent COVID shut down. At that time, the trains were stopped completely rather than disrupted. Since the lockdown has been lifted these strike affected trains run on time. So admittedly there are fewer services but with the effective reporting of Google maps I can check my phone and see when the next train is due. The fat confusion that allowed unions to bully governments into getting pay rises was eviscerated long ago. Mostly because of the internet and the ubiquity of mobile phones. When is a strike not a strike? When the details of train arrivals are posted on the internet. Is not a perfect system but then again it never was. Union should be like a wedding photographer, important but largely unnoticed.

This is a major hub station and is badly in need of a facelift with peeling paint on structures everywhere.

Clean station which has Coles and Woolworths on either side. Revesby has express trains to central and from central as well. There are 4 platforms here with platform 1 and 2 servicing City Circle lines.

This is a great suburb. It's come up very well in last few years. It's clean and safe. The house prices are going up here because it's a desirable place to live in. Good train connectivity, and other amenities. All in all a great suburb with the quintessential suburban living experience.

No signs or QR CODES as you enter or leave the station that face masks are mandatory..even city rail staff aren't wearing them. But they have coppers that aren't wearing their masks correctly stopping a selection of ppl..mainly in Hi vis to attempt to extract money from them(fines)..No school kids without masks were being harrassed or spoken too.

Currently a source of pain due to the recent industrial action. It's a train station. It does what you'd expect, which is give you a place to wait for trains. Keep up the good work!
