I can highly recommend Bea from Embark Pet Care. I have used Bea's services several times for different dogs. Bea really knows her stuff and communicates well with dogs and owners alike. She worked miracles with my companions. I had difficulties with three of my dogs with differing issues. As I primarily adopt senior dogs it is not always possible to obtain a clear history of their behaviour. Bea helped me tackle hyperactivity, walking nicely on a lead and severe separation anxiety. She has a calm, confident approach and treats the dogs as if they were her own. Bea gave me some really useful tips which in turn gave me more confidence handling my dog's problems. Bea is my 'go to' when I am experiencing difficulties. Bea is very kind and caring and I trust her completely with my animals.

Bea did a really, really fantastic job helping me and my dog, Dorothy is a staffy who is reactive to other dogs. Typical behaviours included lunging on the leash, barking and aggression towards other dogs. Bea taught us some engage/disengage techniques that work very effectively as well as building a positive relationship between me and my dog.Since we’ve started training I’ve noticed much less frustration, calmer walks and a more responsive, happy dog both on walks and at home.My favourite thing is how engaged Dorothy is during her lessons with Bea, she really has fun learning with her Buddy Bea!Thanks for all your help Bea and keep up the good work!!

We’ve been looking high and low for a dog school for our 11 month old adopted boy Toby but were rejected by a few due to his age as he was too old for puppy school and didn’t know any basics to attend dog school. We tried to get as much as knowledge on Toby’s past when we adopted him but we don’t know much other than he was on anti depressant medication to calm him down and he had a broken leg. He knew no commands and had absolutely no manners with other dogs. We didn’t want to send him to boarding either and we close to calling an in home behaviourist however upon a trip to the RSPCA vets, we saw a flyer for doggy high school and it ticked all the boxes for what we were after- basic commands and reinenforcements for adolescent dogs who are newly adopted or just missed out on early learning. Bea, our trainer was super patient with Toby and she was understanding of his constant no trigger barking during classes. She made us feel comfortable and reassured us things will improve. We found her classes to be really informative- not just for the dogs but for our education and information too. She genuinely cares for each dog in her class and wants them to succeed. She really goes out of her way to cater the lesson to each individual dog.Toby came into the class barking and lunging at every other dog and at first this was really hard for us but with each lesson, our confident grew in Toby and it all came down to trust and communication. Toby is in a much better place with his socialising skills now- he isn’t perfect but we will keep practising! Bea has equipped us with everything we need to reinforce Toby’s behaviour so it’s down to us but she made it very clear to never hesitate to ask her anything, anytime. We will definitely be recommending Bea and Embark Pet Care to anyone seeking additional training for their four legged friend and will certainly be back if we adopt again!Thank you so much Embark PetCare especially Bea !!!!!!

Thank you Bea for helping us understand our dog and his needs. We used to go to a training school that was very regimented in teaching, but Bea customised our training program for our needs. We now feel more connected to our dog than ever because of it. He is such a big part of our family, but now can also be part of our work lives. We did extra training to have him to be able to come to work in our dental practice as a support dog for anxious patients - Bea, you have not only changed our dog's life, our life but also so many others out there who were once scared of the dentist but no longer have that fear! Thank you!
