Southern Star Aluminium Windows and Doors

1 Star is too much for this company. I totally agree with all the other reviews here.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.The WORST customer service you will experience. And to top it off, the management team are a bunch of clowns. Will make you promise after promise with absolutely no follow through.The windows themselves are rubbish. Very poor quality. And good luck getting them back to service or even finish installation.Don't waste your time with them.

Terrible Service! Staff were uneducated in sales department, waited 5 days for a call back only to phone them myself. 5 week wait for 1 window, disappointed!! Local company delivered my window in 8 days

The worst service I have ever experienced.They request upfront payment never deliver on time parts missing key locks didn't match customer service is appalling.They promise you to come back to finish off the supply and install fly-screen doors and don't bother contacting the payee and never return to finish quoted job.After 2 months you call them and they start coming up with excuses parts where missing from there sliding doors and they will be charging extra to return.What do they not understand by the meaning supply and install! Does this sound like a reputable company of good business practices to any?STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH. Very poor quality products and even worse customer service. The service co ordinator, Jessica, simply does not return calls, even after multiple messages.I purchased $5000 worth of doors and windows through one of their distributors, GEM windows. One piece of glass was defective. I contacted the distributor who was very helpful. This is where it stopped. I recieved a call from Southern Star advising they were coming to replace the glass. The morning of the installation I get a call advising that they lost the glass. That was last year. It took a further 4 months, 4 phone calls and several emails to fix.When they came out and fixed the glass the door needed to be removed. It never went back the same way and would not close. The guy ended up removing the rubber seal advising it was not needed anyway. I took his word for it. It was 6pm and very dark by the time it was replaced. My wife signed off to say the job was completed. The glass was filthy with stickers and writing all over it so I went to clean it. I noticed 150mm long scratch on the inside. It was deep and was stopping me from being able to tint the window. I contacted them only to be told that the job was signed as done and closed off. They can do no more.Their loss. I have another 10 windows, 2 sliding doors and a stacker door that I have just replaced THEY WON'T BE GETTING ANY MORE OF MY MONEY and I have steered multiple others away too.
