Mount Inkerman Scenic Lookout

Nice formed walk with steps up to the lookout with lots of signboards and information. The dogs had a blast! It's not a very long trail, maybe 15 minutes. And some people run up the road too.

Great lookout providing a view of the surrounding area. Very well designed and made with benches, information boards, BBQ and clean toilets. There's also a short walk possible.Road is very steep and narrow and has warnings not suitable for caravans, trucks etc. The turn off from the main highway is also a little hairy with little room for traffic behind to go around if waiting to turn due to oncoming traffic.

Spectacular views to Burdekin River entrance into Coral Sea, patchwork of farming lands, beautiful views 360°, undercover tables, wheelchair accessable from carpark, toilets, info boards, walking track to base, sealed road to top. A must do.

The sign says no Caravans. Trucks or Trailers. The road is steep with a severe right hand turn near the top.

We’ve driven past this hill a few times but always on a timeline. Today we made the stop and it was very worth it. Amazing views, very steep climb in the car, and there is even a walk up the hill if you are keen.

Almost a 5 star review. The missing star related to the staggered views due to bushes being in the way of an otherwise AMAZING view! I laughed when reading others reviews that the road up was the steepest they'd ever been up; clearly some ppl haven't been up steep hills. I did it in a 2015 Mitsubishi mirage the first time and a Mahindra XUV500 the second time with both getting up there ok. Clean Toilets, BBQ and seating up the top with a trail that follows a beautiful way down to the base parking if your fit for a good walk. Beautiful viewpoints on the way up too. I suggest you go at sunset to truly appreciate the view's.

It’s a narrow drive to the top, but well worth it when u get there. Spectacular 360 views and a great was to break up a long drive. If you are also up for it, there is a 30-40min walking trail.
