If I could give half a star I would! First order we did took a very long tike to arrive and tracking number was invalid. It did arrive and everything was good. Second order has been over 2 months and Darren has ignored all my emails and I haven’t had any correspondence from him since I emailed looking for an update. I have raised a claim with PayPal and am still waiting for him to get in contact regarding a refund. I will never order from this store again. Terrible customer service and very disappointed. I have spent over $3000 here and I am disgusted with the lack of communication. His website states ‘I reply to emails morning, lunch and dinner and reply instantly’ I’m afraid this just isn’t the case and I wouldn’t give this company a cent of your money. I don’t normally leave reviews but this couldn’t be left unsaid.

Lewis engines is absolutely fantastic. I asked Darren for a Stage 1 head package with oversized valves for my SR head. I sent the head from Sydney down to SA via courier which Darren organised. The head got damaged in transit but Darren the absolute legend had another and gave it to me at an unbelievable price. The communication throughout the build was fantastic and Mr Darren Lewis is one of the best engine builders in Australia and I would highly recommend Lewis engines to everyone I know into motorsport because if you want it done right and you want to go fast and your engine to perform and last, Go to Lewis engines. I won't use anyone else 10/10 service communication and knowledge.

Currently halfway through my build and communication has been 100%.When ever I have been up to the site at short notice, Lewis Engines has always been accomodating to welcome me in no matter how busy they are.I even get to absorb some of the wealth of knowledge this builder has (for free).Absolutely happy with my engine journey so far.

Ordered a modified oil pan from Lewis engines, sent them the oil pan and my money, and have yet to hear back from them since sending both. I’ve sent repeated emails, phone calls and reached out via social media and heard nothing back for 7 months. Recommend you steer clear of doing business with them.

I got a CA18 race sump done by Lewis engines. Workmanship is top quality and communication was great during the process, specially taking into account I'm in the other side of the planet, which wasn't a problem for the sump to be shipped, worked on and sent back.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Darren abilities and will definitely deal with him again in the future.

Jake DRIFTSQUID Jones here, been using the LEWIS ENGINES Race sumps since my first built RB25 back in 2009. The same sump is still going strong to this day! Awesome product and highly recommend them for anyone building an RB engine.

DO NOT USE LEWIS ENGINESOrdered a head off here and was told none in stock after payment had gone through so I asked for refund, then was told potentially able to organise one on the 7th and proceeded to let owner know I'm in a time constraint and am needing the head but is go ahead if can be organised and shipped within a week or so. Order placed on 2nd of July and had decent communication until the 7th after that had no response or update until the 14th of july where he finally got back to me. Order status has been changed to refunded as of 16th using paypal. PayPal claim says no refund has been sent back yet so still waiting here 2 weeks later with no new cylinder head and no money.Now have my complete engine sitting here ready to go back in but can't as I do not have a head to fit and don't have the money refunded so can't even source anotherBIG WASTE OF TIMEIf I could I would give 0/5 review

Ive had one experience with Lewis engines and its horrible. I ordered to have a oil pan modified 9 months ago, have emailed several times, left multiple Facebook messages and have not heard a word. We had agreed to get the work done and sent the Oil Pan to him and since its gotten there we have not heard anything. It is unfortunate that is has come down to leaving a bad review, even if he could not perform the work requested and just sent the pan back we would have been happy, but nope 0 word from him.

I had placed an order over 2 years ago (February 2018) for a built cylinder head that I have still not received! I was understanding that this type of order would take some extra time, however being so long since I have received any reply, I have lost confidence.I have been trying for a long time to get in touch via emails and following the Facebook link on the website in regards to an update on my order. Still no reply to this date. At this point I would be happy with a refund.
