After trying to get valuations for a trade in with many other big companies, and being given an offensively lowball offer every time, we happened to chance upon Tim, who actually gave us more than we were expecting. Just purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan through Tim. He was so thorough when going over all the paperwork with us, all service history was clean and kept up to date. Tim is a pleasure to deal with, he is definitely honest and genuine when it comes to making a vehicle purchase, finally I was able to purchase a car I had always wanted (320D BMW). Unfortunately when the car was detailed after sale it was discovered the car had been in an accident and the entire front right fender had been resprayed. Not usually a problem however on closer inspection the fender, hood and front clip had been removed from the car and was not refitted straight, the gaps around these three parts do not line up well which is not good on a white car. The fender is actually still bent where it bolts to the chassis which indicates a poor repair. All of this can be repaired however it will be an unexpected out of pocket cost to myself, moral of the story, get an independent check of the car your interested in done, so you don’t end up with a nasty surprise like myself. For the record Tim advised me he was not aware the car had been in an accident, which I do believe, if it were me though I would be having words with wherever the vehicle came from for not disclosing such information.
