Maylands Amateur Boat Building Yard
For boat nerds, this iconic location in Maylands is a must to cruise through. All manner of boats to view. This is a working boatyard and not a tourist attraction. Don't take kids there as it's not kidsafe (and nor should it be - it's an industrial precinct). Its unique by way of its location in suburban Perth and not in a large industrial area. In fact there is an upmarket restaurant virtually next door called Tranby House -- another unique and must see" in the lovely Maylands Peninsular area."

A very good boat storage area 24/7 access. Sea Safe Boat School is also on the property and you can get your Recreational Skippers ticket , with a master trainer. Five star

Great prices on boat parking, a very old historic place good facilities and you can get your Skippers certificate at the Sea Safe Boat School building in the boatyard grounds.

Fantastic old boat club. Has some amazing water craft in there, including the oldest Ferry in Perth, and nicely tucked away on the Swan river.

Great place to pen your boat or even keep in there to re-build as a project. The guys running the place are very professional and easy to deal with. The atmoshere in the yard makes it a great place to get adivce on boat building or any questions.
