Food was absolutely delicious. That said, there is salt on the tables and we absolutely had to use it for all our dishes (2x vegan mushroom pastas, the octopus with white bean purée, and tuna special, across two lunch visits). Not sure whether this is done deliberately or not, given that they tend to cater to an older clientele and families who may wish to control the sodium levels in their food. This restaurant has wonderful, fresh produce with a garden out the back and beautiful views of the bay. Desserts were fantastic too (brownie, salted caramel, white choc and macadamia ice cream, blackberry and strawberry gum sorbet). Also had lovely local wines. Especially impressed by the trial bay Pinot noir which was available by the glass

Great cruise and best lunch ever. 2 hour lunch - 5 course - homemade bread yum - 18 hour slow cooked meat for main was to die for. So tender. Would go again just for the lunch.

Decent pub with decent grub. Stellar location with spectacular views across the bay.They had a Bruny Island stout on when I was there, and it was absolutely top notch.Nice slow cooked shoulder of lamb was had too.

Very good cuisine (modern Australian), use own garden-grown organic vegetables. Splendid bay views, enjoy especially for lunch sitting outside at good weather. Belongs to the finest Tassie can offer.

Came here for dinner with friends, when on a weekend in Hobart. The food was ok, I ordered the gnocchi which was quite acidic. It wasn’t well balanced. I didn’t eat it all.The hummus with crisp bread was nice.Wine by the glass option was average. Drinkable but not the best Pinot noir I’ve had.

Do yourself a favour and book the lunch cruise.Food is amazing, location amazing and staff especially amazing.Disability friendly, they have a buggy to drive anyone with mobility issues up to the restaurant.It's my 6th time & loved the experience as much as the 1st time.

As much as the weather was not that great it was still a fantastic day out, we saw a couple of seals along the way and lunch was absolutely delicious. Could not fault the crew, all very attentive and the skipper Ben did a Stirling job navigating the rough part of the sea.A must do when in Tassie no matter the weather xx

The weather was a challenge but the experience was great! The crew were excellent, keeping us entertained and doubling as wait staff at lunch which was very good for a fixed menu 4 course meal served in a quick turn around time. Transport was available from boat to restaurant too.

So relaxing sitting outside in the sun, enjoying the views over the water while having a nice glass of wine or a beer. The food was sensational, staff were friendly and welcoming, highly recommended l.
