O'Brien's Creek Campground

Fantastic....we had a very good time there. Toilets and showers are very clean. Owners are so beautiful friendly and we were treated like family. We definitely going back there because it is very beautiful.

Great fun for fossickers. The creek has shady spots to sit under. We found 5 small topaz. Came home filthy and exhausted but we all had fun.

Lots of wildlife. Stars are amazing. Simon does a great job looking after us.

Loved the camp sites. Another ablution block in the future would be nice.

Great spot for camping by the river and searching for smokey Quartz and Topaz.

Beautiful spot. Spacious camping area, toilet block conveniently placed. Wildlife friendly and surrounding area accessible for 4 x 4.

Had a great time. Fantastic place to camp, kayak and try your luck with fossicking for topaz. Dog friendly and clean amenities.

Bloody ripper should give it a poor rating so it doesn't get over booked. Geat open space for camping excellent place to relax and excellent people, these places are fast disappearing as they chase a dollar. This would have to be my favourite camp spot. I am returning.

Went camping and fossicking at O’Briens O'briens Creek Campground over the weekend(late march 2023). Can’t say nice enough things! We got flat tyre about 10min from the campground. Once we arrived one of the awesome ladies helped us change the tyre, the camp owner took it into Mount surprises the next day to get it repaired. As we only had a short time away this saved us so much hassle, stress and time.Beautiful camp ground, well maintained, toilets, showers, bins. lots of creek frontage to camp in front of.The cause way was just under .2 over, the AWD and 4WD were making it over.To top it off we found some nice topaz and crystals. One of the other campers ‘V’ took us out and showed us how to hunt for crystals. Lots of wildflowers, butterflies and wildlife abou. Honestly such an amazing trip. Would highly recommend O’Briens creek campground and the fossicking grounds
