Have been going there for several years. My car is computerized. He caused several of my stems to stop working. All were never a problem. He denied he was responsible. I asked him to plug the computer in to run a diagnostic test to see what was wrong. He doesn't have a diagnostic testing machine. He didn't tell my thematic case was cracked an leaking and a split was in a coolant hose. He said it was fullyserviced. And had the gaul to charge me for 2 test drive. Taken elsewhere it cost me 720 dollars on top of the 750 I paid Rick's to fix my car. If your care can be dignosticed checked by plugging it in, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. HE COMES ACROSS AS A NICE PERSON BUT ALL HE WANTS IS YOUR MONEY

Avoid Rick's Mechanical Repairs! I had a service done 20,000kms ago through Rick's, I was told this basic oil change would be $200-$250 and was charged $350. I've just done my own service and went to replace the air conditioning filter they had installed, it's rectangular so there is only one way it could possibly be installed, yet they even screwed that up. So for the past 20,000kms dirt and debris have been sucked through the fan motor directly into the cabin! I just hope it has not ruined the motor. They also said they would replace my wiper blades free of charge, I told them not to as my factory blades were in perfect condition. They replaced the blades anyway, with the wrong ones! They only made contact with 70% of the windscreen, So I had to drive around for weeks waiting for them to get in the factory wiper blades from Toyota. All I can say is please do your research before going to so called professional mechanics.

Not the greatest experience.Firstly i was told 120 for service on phone and then in invoice i was charged 160 for it.Too expensive had only done service, wiring correction of stereo, and putting a bolt. Also inspected knocking/bumping problem in car. All together charged too much for it. Ask them to message you any quotes, just a suggestion.The problem is not even just the price butThey had no clue about my car.3 days after serviced and my car had major problem with cooling system (RAA suggested it likely to be headgasket).Before RAA scene I took it back to ricks for second time after they said it's just the radiator cap issue likely.How can a good mechanic not notice this kinda serious issue at start during service firstly? and then second time wouldn't do any proper check either, when i myself found problem.They didn't have a clue about the car. Would go to some RAA approved mechanic now.
