I feel bad because all the other reviews sing their praises but that was not the experience we had.Service was very slow, menus were thrust at us as we walked in the door and she gestured to sit any where. I went back to the counter to ask if there were lunch specials. Confusion ensued. My daughter spilt her glass of water and I went to the counter for paper towels a few times before anyone thought to see if we were ok. Finally someone came to take our order (2x $15 special sets) then everyone who came after us received all their meals. Finally ours came out, stone cold. My husband spoke up and asked for his to be reheated and I left mine as is because my toddler was too hungry to wait.The fresh sushi was really good but I cannot say anything positive about anything else.

Great experience all round from the food, service, and even the tea.Portions are incredibly generous and while I still wouldn’t say it’s necessarily good value, you certainly get more than what you pay for at other Japanese restaurants.Both Japanese and Korean options are very good. Picture below are the Pinocchio Set, Set 1 and the green tea (that’s right, real loose leaf rice tea for $3, and a big pot at that!)Very happy and will be coming back

Not the best kimchi for me, but it is still nice.Sashimi bowl with rice is to my expectation.They are not giving wasabi immediately with the sashimi, but they immediately giving to us if asked.To add, the owner is nice.

Absolutely delicious Korean-Japanese food. Everything tastes super fresh and homemade, from the sushi to the soups. Definitely recommend trying - this has become one of our favourites in the area!

Very generous portion sizes and pretty good sushi store for a suburban restaurant. Nice service and good selection of indoor seating, including booth seats. I ordered the spicy raw tuna roll and chicken teriyaki. The tuna was fresh and nice tasting but I wish the spicy drizzle was mixed in with the tuna rather than put on top.

5-Jan-2017, Fri 1.30pm. There were a few empty tables so we easily found a table. The menu is quite diverse, not just sushi. The prices were decent, the staff was friendly. I found the soup to be a bit too sweet but perhaps that's how it's supposed to taste. The wasabi was relatively mild. My order was #5, chicken kaarage, and about 14$. It included 5 pieces of sushi, a bowl of rice a small platter of chicken some strips of ginger and a soup, see photos. I don't see any reason why you didn't give this restaurant a go. The food was ready in about 15min. They have some interesting ornaments.

Prices have jumped up quite alot in the last couple of years. I had spicy pork with rice and it was $18, used to be $12 a few years ago.The food is still excellent as always but I don't think I'll be returning at these inflated prices.

A nice place if you want a quick meal. The taste is not very otentic but still ok, eg: you would expect kimchi with your korean dish instead of salad.
