We've been working with Jo for over a year with our complicated Weimaraner and she has helped tremendously. Billy was anxious and reactive when we first looked for help, and now he is a completely different dog. He will always need a little extra care, but we have learnt a lot from Jo about looking for his signs and managing situations. Thankyou!

Dr Jo and the team at Pet Behaviour Vet are wonderful to work with. They are super friendly and helpful. No problem is too small or too big to tackle. They have helped my 2 extremely nervous dogs enormously.

It’s taken me a long time to finally decide to write this review. Unfortunately my experience with the vet that deals with the Illawarra area, was not the experience I was hoping for. I was hoping to find medication that would help Fifi not be so scared of the world. But instead was told the one medication we tried was the only option for her. And that it was ok if she just slept all day. Also not try to take her out of the house, as it’s one of her triggers. I spent a substantial amount of money. But was left with very little results. I was contacted by the owner of the business. But unfortunately her recommendation of upping her dose, just made her feel sick. And I haven’t been able to get her stomach back to normal since.

The team at Pet Behaviour Vet have helped me achieve what I thought wasn't possible. A year ago I contacted them and saw Dr Jo to get the next level of help, as suggested by my dog trainer, with my Shepherd X as my training wasn't progressing and I was using a lot of management. Over the past year I have made progress that I couldn't have made without the help of Dr Jo. She was kind and understanding, very thorough and easy to talk to. She has provided me with on going support and guidance and helped me achieve my goals. All I wanted a year ago was to have my dog home with me, now a year and a bit on, after a lot of hard work and on going troubleshooting with Dr Jo he is finally home and I feel the joy of having a dog like I never have before. I highly recommend Dr Jo and her team to anyone struggling with their dog, the help, support, guidance and knowledge her and her team have provided me with has been invaluable.

Cannot recommend Dr Joanna McLachlan from Pet Behaviour Vet highly enough, she has changed all our lives for the better, not just the four legged family members.Our clowder of Rescue cats were anxious & anti social, but the addition of another cat (inherited) made the situation explosive & violent.Dr Jo has worked miracles & we can not express our gratitude enough.

I am a fully qualified behavioural dog trainer with a Certificate IV and I've had a professional relationship with Dr Jo and her team for many years. I refer cases to them regularly and have on going communication with them regarding cases that I'm working with. Dr Jo is highly educated and passionate about using up to date, force free, science based methods with her clients. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Dr Joanna and the team were great to work with my dog who has reactivity issues. Very compassionate, empathetic, supportive and understanding or our issues and needs and the journey towards progress and meeting our needs.
