Stop & Go Brake and Service Centre Frankston

Disappointed is an understatement, seriously advise not using this place for RWC. Had my car tested on the 31/05 was given a long list of things that needed attention, which I expected. I spent a large amount of money and time getting the car up to scratch. However when I returned for my second roadworthy magically they start to find new issues that was never found the first time. The car wasn’t being driven and was only in the garage.When asked how it’s possible that he didn’t see these things the first time, he couldn’t give me an answer. After this his attitude was disgusting telling me to take my car somewhere else and it’s not his problem.Tried to tell me he doesn’t make money of RWC which is laughable, he’s got $500 from me and not done a seconds work on my car.He will respond to this comment saying something like “we test following the rules of vic roads” this is not true. If this was the case he would have picked up all problems the first time round. I guess he wants you to get the work done in his garage for that extra $$$$.

Michael had done an amazing job on my car. The suspension has been renewed and the brakes tune is beautiful. Love his workCheers Wayne

The best. Had my first service here the other week and I will not be going anywhere else. Car was returned to my doorstep, cleaned on the inside and the packet of coffee was a great touch! I will be back.

AVOID. Took my car in for a RWC after it had passed one less than 3 months ago. Found 10 things wrong with it and quoted an unrealistic amount to get fixed. I got my local mechanic to fix at a much cheaper price before returning to get the certificate. They failed the car again and said a number of things hadn't been changed and that my mechanic had replaced the wrong part. I called my mechanic and he explained that Michael had written the wrong item on the RWC and they had completed all of the items on the list. Michael then cancelled my RWC even though it hadn't expired the 14 day period and said he would give me a discount price of $180 for the next one, haha. I took the car back to my mechanic and he had an experienced RWC provider come and have a look. He looked at the report and agreed that Michael had made a mistake with the part and was taking me for a ride. I've seen similar posts about RWC. Stay clear folks.

honest fast and reliable, these are not things that come to my mind when i think of most mechanicsbuti can assure you Stop and Go ARE the exception to this rule.Micks open communication with photo documentation really demystifies the entire experience. i will be recommending stop and go to anybody that asks for a mechanic

Awesome service. Serviced my Audi A5, even dropped the car back to my house. Couldn't recommend Michael more. Plus you get a bag of Revolution coffee..best in Victoria.

Had my first service with Stop & Go since moving to the area and very happy with the service provided. Quick & efficient and provided a detailed report of the required works to be approved before going ahead. Returned my car nice and clean inside and with a surprise bag of coffee! I have used Michael to service various cars for many years, both at Brakes Plus and now at Stop n Go. He also services the cars of two of my daughters. I have always received exceptional service and treatment, along with well considered advice, from him and his team. I have never had cause to doubt him when he has recommended work.
