We had a great time and love the challenge that Zodiac Heist and Law & Disorder offered. Some of the clues were innovative and impressive. Truly enjoyed the experience.

Odditorium, Law and Disorder and Zodiac Thief were the best 3 games we did at one go! They were able to accomodate us in between timings and even had a 25% discount after the first game!

My wife and I attended and did the Zodiac Heist. The puzzles and challenges were smart and challenging without being too obtuse. The room was well themed and all the puzzles fit in with the story it was telling. The puzzle masters were super friendly and engaging and only gave clues when prompted or asked. We had a great experience at Escape Hunt and would definitely like to return!

At the beginning we were told the most force and pushing you would need to apply is 3 fingers. Where was the 3 finger force when we were slamming coffins in? It sucks to know you didn’t finish because you listened and didn’t force things.

We booked the Odditorium room with a redballoon voucher received as a gift. The experience was unfortunately a bit of a let down for our first escape room.On the day prior to our session, I called to confirm our third party booking (through redballoon) and the phone simply rang out with no answer several times. I then left a voicemail as prompted but never heard back. I did receive an email confirmation shortly after (so I assume someone heard my message). On the day of arrival, there was only 1 staff member working 5 rooms at once (with a trainee shadowing him on her first day). The staff member did their best to check us in about 15 mins after booked start time, and explain the room premise, and we really enjoyed the first half of the room, including fantastic puzzles which were challenging and rewarding. We received helpful hints when we needed them, and although we could tell the game master was perhaps stretched, he was always really friendly and very helpful. We did become frustrated in the second half of the room, we spent wasted time on a broken padlock, and the game master had to enter the room and use bolt cutters (after we patiently waited about 10 minutes for him to come and assist) which really ruined the overall illusion.Once we completed the room , we felt rushed out the door as other groups were waiting to check in and when I asked about a photo or souvenir, was advised the photobooth was broken.I understand malfunctions probably happen from time to time and the rooms did have a lot of wear and tear from previous guests which overall made the experience not as enjoyable or immersive as it potentially could have been.

Not bad. The room we did (Machinarium) could have been a little clearer with some of the clues, and it also had spare parts which didn't relate to the room at all - possibly the room is/was used for 2 different stories?Overall enjoyable though, and the staff were quite lovely.

I came here for my 8th escape room, and I have never been so disappointed and angry. My companions and I chose to do the Odditurium which we didn't know was by far the hardest room. Normally, the website will state the level of difficulty for each escape room, but for some reason the Escape Hunt Melbourne doesn't. Anyways, I'm here to say that I totally relate to other people who had a difficult time here. For example, there were many times when we had found a clue but didn't know what to do with it so we'd ask a staff member over the walkie talkie for help. Instead of helping us, the staff member took us through the steps to get the clue? It was really confusing since we were asking for help as to what to do with the clue we had just found, not the other way around. The other thing that really made us furious was the fact that we were sternly told off by a staff member over the loudspeaker not to move certain objects in the room as it was not part of the game despite not having any labels stating otherwise. This included bottles with liquid, and multiple pillars which were quite heavy. There was no label to indicate DO NOT TOUCH" so one can only assume that those objects were made to be part of the game. FYI just because we signed a waiver form doesn't mean anything. If no measures are taken to prevent the potential toppling over of those pillars (eg use of signage
