Naracoorte Swimming Lake

Fantastic spot for the family to cool off. What a asset for Naracoorte. The children are well behaved and everyone is having a blast.

Beautiful little spot to swim.Lots of swallow areas for the younger ones, with the deeper area on the other side for the more confident swimmers.

This swimming lake was perfect on such a hot day! With only two days at Naracoorte we are so glad to have stumbled across this huge swimming lake. When we first got there we thought it was closed because nobody else was there but after being there a few hours more people started to arrive.It’s so nice not having to worry about stepping on rocks etc as the ground is smooth.We couldn’t get over the size of this swimming lake and that it was FREE! Toilets are located right nearby and lots of shady spots to sit. Surrounded by lots of beautiful trees, it’s easy to spend half the day here. There is a caravan park close by too.We think this is the best activity based attraction in Naracoorte.

What a gem! Amazing place to spend a day especially when it's hot. We had lots of fun with kids. Water is clean and everyone found what they like: Sand, shallow and deeper water, jumping and swimming. Definitely recommend. Oh and ice cream was yum.

Bit slippery/slimy in some parts of the swim lake but great place to be on a warm day.

Fantastic facility in the heart of Naracoorte, change facilities available and lovely green grass areas to sit and relax.

Not bad. Clean - it's big and has a variety of depths for all ages. Shade, grass, sand and change rooms. A canteen offers snacks.

Beautifully maintained and quite large water body. The swimming pool has small kids zone and some deeper parts as well. It’s open, accessible and fun during summers.After finishing our cave tour, we were looking for a nice barbecue spot. Surprisingly, there are very less near the cave zone.The amazing cave guide suggested visiting to Naracoorte swimming lake. It was one of the best decisions. We found a nice park, barbecue and lake for post lunch dip.

10:10 Awesome facility. Called a Lake but it'd call it a huge swimming pool - has a concrete bottom and is huge. Ideal for kids as shallow. Highly Recommended. Great for cooling off in 30+ degrees - plus it's FREE. Enjoyed cooling off while traveling through town.

This is THE place to be on a hot day in naracoorte! Take the time to do some bombs off the platform or just chill by the ‘beach’. This fish and chips hit the spot too if you visit the cafe. Plenty of spots to sit under the shade
