Australian Formal Wear

We utilised Australian Formal Wear in Mount Hawthorn for our wedding in December 2016 and I cannot recommend the team that work there enough. All of the ladies we visited during our multiple appointments were excellent, worked with us to find exactly what we were looking for & fitted my husband & his groomsmen perfectly. I loved the fact they are a family based business who care about their customers & they always accomodated my questions & requests without hesitation & with a smile. We had visited other businesses before coming to australian formal wear & their service did not compare to that of these lovely ladies, they truly stood out to me & made my experience as a bride stressfree. Thank you to the team, keep up your good work, we need more retailers like you out there!

Friendly, welcoming, helpful, and I could go on. Greeted at the door, professional advice and suit was ready to go the next day as promised. Place to go if you're in need of a great outfit.

I was in a hard spot, as I flew back in from work on a public holiday and needed a suit for a wedding the following night. Australian formal wear completely saved the day by going out of their way to come and open the shop for me. Highly recommended store. Thanks guys!

Had tailored shirts prepared for a wedding: cuffs poorly stitched, unfinished and mis-aligned, rented jackets hastily tacked and not pressed so cuffs were baggy. Dressmaker on site at wedding (down south) was able to patch up some of the poor workmanship.One tailored shirt split behind the buttons during the night, since it was not sized appropriately, not a good experience and an even poorer one when returning jackets and discussing the shirt. Definitely not recommending this store and definitely not happy with losing $70 on a shirt that didn't last more than 3 hours use.

Why would you go anywhere else ! -- today i send about 20 minutes being fitted for a suit , i met the owners Jock and Janet who are awesome. Janet is Friendly and professional with a keen eye for detail. it is such a lovely welcoming and friendly atmosphere i felt like staying longer . okay so the suit looks fantastic , the price is equally fantastic and now i look (and feel) awesome. these guys are a well established local business who are people focused . Thankyou Janet you are AWESOME

The experience we were provided with by the lovely owner couple at Australian Formal Wear was absolutely incredible. After an unfortunate debacle with our original tailored suits not arriving on time for the big day of one of my closest friends, they came to our rescue in every way possible, coming through with amazing service that allowed my two beautiful friends to have the wedding day of their dreams. Considering the urgency of our situation, the team exceeded every expectation in setting three of us in the bridal party with suits exactly fitted to our measurements. Regardless of the time constraints they were forced to work under, they so graciously accommodated our specific needs and we will be forever indebted to them for so seamlessly fitting us in and placing us as a priority. Our endless thanks to the team at Australian Formal Wear for such stellar service and an overall impeccable suit hire experience. We cannot recommend these extraordinary people enough!

I’ve been going here for many years and will not go anywhere else in Perth for that special suit or tuxedo hire. The attention to detail with the type or suit, the sizing and fitment on my weirdly shaped body by the owners Jock, Janet or Jane is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble.The quality of the shirts and suits is way beyond my budget if I was to buy them and they have a selection of cuff links, bow ties and cummerbunds or you need them too.Easy parking right out the front and great coffee nearby if you have to wait for an adjustment.If you want to feel a million dollars when you’re only really a couple of hundred like me....get your tuxedo for that special occasion from Jock. You won’t be disappointed.

We had Jane looking after our wedding and she was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and accommodating.There were plenty of suits to choose from, and Jane was always helpful with bouncing ideas.The suits and accessories looked absolutely amazing on the wedding day, with my husband and I receiving so many compliments.Can not fault and would highly recommend!

Exceptional clothes and great staff. I was fitted up with a very dapper outfit. Gave me a couple of choices. I went with the red.So pleased I was offered something different.Very good clear communications. Everything, fitting well, pressed and presented beautifully. The whole experience made attending the event so much better. Thank You!!

Super friendly staff. I had an emergency come up with work that mean I returned a suit 4 days late. No issue with these legends.Thanks guys, I will be back.
