Pre covid this was the place to be for food and a good night but was there the other night on a Saturday it was dead food and service was sub par

Quite a surprising experience for a Saturday lunchtime. No veggies on the menu, limited options with staff under pressure although there was only 10 patrons. Dining area was freezing cold. Not the best experience.

Four stars for a humble backwater pub, might attract one less if closer to the big smokeDecent country pub, friendly staff and nice interior and atmosphere. A little bit of a wait for the meals we ordered when a rush came through. Beer selection is conservative with James Squire the craftiest beer available.Korean chicken pretty good, maybe could be a bit more salty than sweet, mild criticism.Porterhouse steak could have been seasoned a bit more and salad relied on iceberg lettuce a bit too much. Again, very mild criticism.I'd go back and eat it all again in a heartbeat. You should too!

We did singing karaoke hear with my friend graham we chose candy man such a fun upbeat song. I had a little too much to drink so Graham had to drive my 1994 Land Cruiser home. It much bigger than his 1992 carola but we made it back to the caravan in one piece thanking the god lol
